Well, my vote.php page has only one backlink to it within my own website, however, there are other non-OMGN websites that link directly to the vote page, bypassing my home page.

If anybody is still keeping up with this thread... I've sent off my motherboard to MSI. They contacted me and said it was likely a controller problem on the motherboard. Western Digital also contacted me about my two dead hard drives, and they think that the board was likely the culprit of the drives' deaths. Now I get to contact WD as to why I received a different model HD this time around than the one I bought. I bought an 8MB cache model, and I think they gave me a 2MB cache model... Augh!

My files do. I've repeatedly had an error "File cannot be found." It must have run away.

Yeah, I'd like to know about this as well, especially if there's a company that levies no monthy fee for it, but only takes their cut of the sale (Much like PayPal does).

Woah, it was only PG-13? I guess it qualifies then! But Holly seemed like she always wanted to "become a noid." We all know who've seen that movie what that means, so I thought she wouldn't qualify because she certainly isn't innocent like Boop, Rabbit... Or the Disney chicks. Ariel was cool.

A couple things... 1) Stemming. So this means, in regards to my website, "games" and "gaming" would be stemmed words? So I don't need to include both "games" and "gaming" in my keywords because they stem from the same root? Woah... I'll have to wait on this for more results. 2) I have noticed some interesting PR results on my website. My main page is 6. My subsections (Save for 3) are all 5. Then any link in each subsection is 4. And succeeding links get one less each per click (Save for a few exceptions). Basically, with every "click" you have to take form my main page (PR 6) to get to a certain page on my site, you lose a PR of 1 per click. So if you have to click two links to get to Page X from my main page on my site, Page X (Generally) will have a PR of 4. I imagine this may be what "distance" is referring to. If it is, then the distance formula needs more work, because my "Vote" page has a PR of 4, and I know there are a lot of websites out there that link directly to it and not my home page.

So basically what you're saying, is that pages within a website linked to the home page (Like "links.html" has a link back to the home page) aren't being given quite as much emphasis as they were before? And now Google is measuring links by "how far away" they are from the website? I don't mind these changes. Heck, they make sense anyway!

While I think auto-deleting spam is convenient, I don't think you should do it. I've had the newsletter from noreply@omgn.com sent to rfludwick@omgn.com tagged as spam before, so I wouldn't have it auto-delete. What I do is I have Outlook filter out subjects with [sPAM] in their header (I changed the *****SPAM*** to [sPAM]) and move them to another folder called Spam. then I check the spam folder every once in awhile and scan it over, making sure I'm not deleting anything I needed.

I'm paranoid though... That's why I run a DB backup of all my websites nightly, and have it go to a db folder under www. Regardless, TCH's backup option is always awesome. Any host that backs up regularly, and even makes that backup directly available to the customer, is the best.

Well, good news... I've put in an RMA request on my board. Yay. Now I have to wait for the new 80G drive to come in as well as my new board, and hopefully everything will work...

Alright. I s'pose I'll go on that, since both HG and Andy said so. Now I just have to figure out a way to get MSI to replace my board, it's only about a month and a half old...

Alright, the CDRW isn't working again, underneath the 10G drive this time. I went into computer management to look further into what might be a problem... It gave me a bunch of errors about "cdrom" when I tried to access a CD in the CDRW. It read "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\CdRom1." Is it the board or the board's drivers??

Well.. I was just about to replace it when my new 80G drive refused to load up anymore. Then I put in another damn RMA on it and broke out my old 10G hard drive to do a temporary install on (I'm on it right now). Guess what? The CDRW works on this install of Windows on the 10G drive. So, is it possible that that specific model of hard drive is causing these problems? Because the CDRW is working on the same system config as before, except that the 80G drive is swapped for a 10G. I'm still installing stuff onto the 10G, but essentially, everything is the same. Whadya think now? The 80G is the problem or the board??

Another update: I said that switcing out the power supply corrected the "missing 80G drive" problem... It didn't. The drive disappeared in mid-use again, and I had to shut down and turn off my computer completely to have it be recognized again. This didn't happen with my previous 80G drive that died on me.
