Log into cPanel and select FTP Accounts. At the bottom of the page you will find the FTP logs. How are the files being transferred? With an FTP client? Usually corruption occurs when the file being uploaded is done using the wrong file type. Like a binary file being uploaded in ASCII format or an ASCII file being uploaded in binary. Or it can simply be a bad connection (route losing bits).

If you are having problems installing something please open a ticket with the help desk. They can assist you. But from reading the path information from your attempt you cannot access those folders. So maybe this is something the techs would have to install for you anyway.

The above is correct. This is a capability of suPHP. It basically moves the php set directives out of the .htaccess file and into it's own file.

I never set any permissions on my php files and they run just fine but 755 would be the logical choice since it offers execute permissions for owner, group and world. As for whether or not HTTP_Request2 is available please open a ticket with the help desk and ask. The techs can tell you if it is configured on your server.

The php.ini file was probably in your Drupal folder. Create a php.ini file in the Drupal folder and enter the command as such to turn register_globals off. >register_globals = Off

Make sure you are running current versions of all your software packages and scripts.

A 401 error means you have not provided proper authentication.

Ask tech support to check the ownership of all files and folders for the account and set them to what they should be.

I never disable my plugins and haven't had a problem.

Can't say I've ever heard of them. I did go to their website. Pretty minimalistic but if they are legit sounds like a nice idea. Good luck and congrats if it's legit.

Hi Nat, streamed for me but the download link brings up your appreciation page. Sucks that people resort to screwing others whether for profit or not.

You do not have access to the command line but generally you upload the files using FTP. You can upload a .zip or .gz compressed file you can expand on the server using the file manager. If the software requires a database you create those though cPanel. You create and add database users using cPanel as well. If they have a backup of their files in .zip, .tar or .gz format it can be uploaded and extracted. If they have a database backup you upload that to their web space and then open a ticket with the help desk and ask the techs to import it into the database you create.
