  2. Ok, if you want to use your cPanel name in cPanel in the top section choose Change Password. What ever you set it to to log into cPanel will work for FTP. In CuteFTP use ftp.your-domain.ext for the host name, enter your cPanel name for FTP site User Name and enter the password you changed it to. Then be sure to use PASV mode.
  3. If you are connecting using your cPanel user name you need your password for the cPanel user name. You can also set up FTP accounts that have their own passwords. If you change a password it should work immediately. What FTP client are you using? Make sure to use a passive connection.

  16. Thomas is correct, it is only for speeding up launch of Office programs. Most people don't use Office programs everyday so it's silly to run the Office Start Up component. Happy New Year!
