Do you really need to run it every 15 minutes? If you have lots of files it's going to take time and resources to do the testing. But that script should give you what you want.

Have your freelancer check the time/date on his computer as well.

I don't bother using the auto-update feature. Takes longer than doing it the old way. Just download the zip file and upgrade it manually. Takes less than 10 minutes.

Anyone else upgrade to 2.9 yet? Do you use the scheduled post function? I had one scheduled to go up yesterday when it didn't I went to look and saw "Schedule missed" below the post. I googled and found this was an issue when 2.7 was released and there were fixes for it but those fixes didn't seem to be the problem this time. I found one post that said to run my-domain/wp-cron.php from the web browser which did make the post appear. Just wondering if it was a one time occurrence of if it's going to keep happening.

Welcome to the forums golfandgames Where are you trying to forward? There are several domains that TCH will not allow forwarding. Please see the TCH Forwards Policy.

The 72 hours is the time propagation could take. Usually it will all happen within hours. Validating the transfer is an email to the administrator to inform them the transfer was requested. They must acknowledge that email or the transfer will fail.

Depending on where your domain is currently hosted you may need to log into your domain administration panel and unlock the domain so it can be transferred. Not sure about the authorization code. A valid administrative contact would be you if you are the administrator of the domain now. Otherwise who ever is the administrator will have to validate the transfer. How long will it take? Up to 3 days (72 hours).

You can open a ticket with the help desk and they will be able to answer this better but you can start with the Silver plan and upgrade as needed. If the site grows quickly you can always get a dedicated server down the road.
