Welcome to the family, Mike! Don't be afraid to ask questions. There's always someone around to help. Happy to have you with us.

If it's your main site it should not be in your WHM panel. You main site is considered a free site outside of your reseller account. You will have to open a Help Desk ticket (link above) and have the TCH do it for you.

There is no extra charge for parking a domain name other than the cost of the domain name that I am aware of. And yes, you should be able to access with horde.

OK, I did a search of the forum and found this thread that may help.

Here are two good threads to read. Filtering Best Technique Anti-Spam software I would resist trying to bounce messages because generally the email address you are bouncing to is invalid (as in the case of Spam) Also, moving post tp proper forum.

Don't know if there is a standard or not but setting a specific point size will prevent someone from increasing or decreasing the font size in their browser. When I do specify point sizes I generally make them 10, 11 or 12 depending on what I am using them for.

Glad you figured it out. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask and someone will surely offer help.

Welcome to the family, bnccart! No, secure FTP is not on the servers, sorry. (using an FTP client) See Don't post below for doing so using cpanel's file manager.

Email - Forwards - Autoresponders
TCH-Bruce replied to scotttyz's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Since you are going to create a forward it should work just as if there was an account. Yes, you can leave the account, and forward to another as well as add an auto responder for the same account. -
Email - Forwards - Autoresponders
TCH-Bruce replied to scotttyz's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
First is this for personal email or business or both? Here's what I would do. For forwarding: If it's personal email, you can create a single forward of her current email to where it is to be forwarded. And also delete her current account. If it is business/personal, create two forwards, one to her new address and another to who ever is taking her place. Again delete her current account. For the auto-reply: The address you would use for the auto-response is her current email address. In the body you would enter instructions for how to contact her. -
OK, it is not possible and here's why (only pertains to shared hosting accounts). If it did not add the @domain.com then there would be conflicts if someone else in a different domain tried to add the same user name. So if you want to add a user named Bob and it didn't add the @****** and I added a user called Bob without @**** it wouldn't know what to do.

I don't think it's possible. I will ask why.

snipe, I thought shell access was disable for TCH users because of security reasons. We can ftp into our domain, but from what I was told, we can't telnet. Does anyone know if this has changed? The only people with shell access are those on dedicated servers.

Kasey, Upload the file to your public_html folder and then open File Manager, select the file and select Uncompress from the options. I did that, and it extracted nothing that I can see. I'm curious as to why Winzip wouldn't open the archive either since I have opened .gz files before.

I use vi on *nix and viw on Windows. I also use HTML-kit.
