I found a handy trace route tool called Trout. It's a free utility. http://www.foundstone.com/resources/freetools.htm

You will have to modify your user_prefs file in the .spamassassin folder. This folder is in your root folder. Edit the user_prefs file using cpanel's file manager. Add the following line. use_bayes 0 That will turn off Bayes filtering. Here is a link to the documentation for the user_prefs file. http://eu.spamassassin.org/doc/Mail_SpamAssassin_Conf.html

In the Admin panel under forum administration select the forum you want to allow uploads into and set the KB limit to what ever you need. You also have to make sure the "uploads" folder is set to permissions "777" for the upload to happen. I'm pretty sure the ZIP application type is in the conf_,mime_types.php file.

Click on Add-on Scripts. It should appear on the next screen.

Yes, I just uploaded ZIP files in the forum. I'm not sure what kind of content you want to distribute. You mention that you want them to be able to preview before downloading.
-
I have set Invision up to allow downloading of ZIP files that only I can post and only persons granted access to the particular forum can read/download. The way I handle it is I created separate forums for updates. I am the admin of the board and I gave only the Admin rights to post into these forums. I also created groups for access control to these forums. As peole register with my board they are required to PM me with information that I requested so that I can verify they actually purchased said product. Once I determine that they are who they claim to be I change their group level so that they can access the forum with the downloads. Works pretty well in my opinion.

Thomas I think a Help Desk ticket to Billing would be the best way to get your answer.

You may want to take a look at the following thread. Review of Mambo If you are still having problems please open a Help Desk ticket. Be warned though. TCH-Mike has posted the following. Moved to proper forum.

Since these are shared servers unless you are on a dedicated server you are limited to the "http" transport method. Please see these other posts. Streaming Streaming WMA files Streaming Video Streaming Audio From My Web Site Audio/Video Streaming There are several other threads that discuss streaming. You can find them by doing a search and using "streaming" as the search criteria. Remember to choose any date instead of the last 30 days before you submit the search. Moved to proper forum.

Don, I had the same problem with forms on our company site but I found a way around it while still leaving Spam Assassin set at level 5. You need to make some mods to your user_prefs file in the .spamassassin folder. I did it like this. header MSGID_FROM_MTA_SHORT Subject =~ /{Your Subject here}/ score MSGID_FROM_MTA_SHORT -5 This used a score for MSGID_FROM_MTA_SHORT of -5 for my subject matter. This drops the scoring on these messages by -5 and they get through leaving you set at a lower threshold for Spam Assassin. You could modify the value even more if you wanted and drop your threshold even more. It's trial and error I've found to find a happy medium.

Re-directing Users To New Web Space
TCH-Bruce replied to kaseytraeger's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Kasey, if you park one domain over the other you would be able to access the folder with either domain name. -
Kasey, yes they are still in business and the people we rent office space from still use them. A few months ago I tried to get them to switch to TCH too. Then the more I thought about it, I backed off. Why? Because the guy that owns the business is a jerk. But that a story for another day.

I never gave TCH a review but I think most everyone that frequents this forum knows that I think TCH is the greatest web host I've ever dealt with. Now I know some may say I am paid to say that, but I am not a paid employee of TCH, don't let the forum moderator status fool you. I am a customer just as most you are. I've been with several hosts in the last ten years and while some were good, others were down right horrible. Coming here was like a breath of fresh air. What prompted me to even write this? I was cleaning out my sent mail folder and came across this email I sent to my last web host before coming here (names removed to protect the guilty). Well things never got any better and here I am at TCH. And I must say, even though there were a few problems initially, TCH did everything right to keep me here and more importantly keep me happy. TCH always communicates with their users. When there are problems we know about them and what is being done to fix them. I wouldn't be here if TCH wasn't as good as they are. I was spending $30/mo for that web hosting package and received hardly any service. I cannot believe the service I recieve here for a fraction of that cost. Thank you Bill, and thank you TCH! I look forward to remaining a customer here indefinately. Rock Sign

Try it with another web browser other than IE. For some reason IE may not display the fav icon.

1. It has to be world executable to allow uploads into it and it is a directory not a file. 2. These are Linux servers and will not execute .EXE files. But they could upload a CGI script written in Perl, PHP or Javascript that could mess with your site. You should be able to write something that only allowed certain file extensions to be uploaded.

You may want to open a Help Desk ticket to get this sorted out.
