Welcome to the family, Deltablue! I'm sorry, but the policy is not to change user names as they are generated automatically. Please take a look at Account user names will not be changed post. Anymore questions, please don't be afraid to ask.

Have you looked at the Masking your E-Mail address page? I use the E-Mail Obfuscator method myself although I am considering to go with strickly form input. Using form input it doesn't matter if the user has an email client configured or not since the server will process everything.

Thomas, that is javascript. To a robot/spider it would not appear to be a link. In a user's web browser the javascript will execute and the user will see the end result (a properly formatted email address that can be clicked). Only problem with this method is the user has to have javascript enabled in their browser for it to function.

Just moving to proper forum.

In your HTML you have: <script src="http://russianmadcity.com/builder/scrolling.js" type="text/javacsript"> Your telling the server that your Javscript is in a folder called builder. If you stick the .js file in the cgi-bin folder it will not see it. Move the .js script file to a folder called builder and it should work.

Thomas I played with my fonts in Firefox. Setting it to 13 or less and the scroll bar went away. At 14 or above it appears. I run at 1280x1024.

Blogger will publish to folders with in your TCH web space.

Easier than what? Several choices were given.

Doesn't Mozilla use a larger font size by default? That could account for the scroll bar.

Arvind, check the Perl Modules installed on your server. If it's not there then please open a Help Desk ticket asking for it to be installed. It should already be installed.

As long as the lock/key appears in the browser you have a secure connection. You should be fine. I tried with my domain on server 26 and got a message cpanel wasn't configured on that server. Changed to use server26.toto... and it worked fine.

Problem Delivering Mail To Road Runner Email
TCH-Bruce replied to johnong's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Ok, please open a Help Desk ticket to support and let them know what's happening. They can look into it further. -
Kasey, I gave you that info and HG corrected me. If you have your own SSL certificate that is the way to access cpanel secure. If you don't have the certificate and are on a shared server the link would be. https://serverXX.totalchoicehosting.com/cpanel Just clearing it up. And HC is correct, there is no secure FTP. But you could use the file manager in cpanel.

Problem Delivering Mail To Road Runner Email
TCH-Bruce replied to johnong's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
That's the part I don't understand. I send email to my RR accounts from my TCH domains all the time and they all get through. I also have a mailing list for our golf league that I send through the TCH servers and many of the receipients are on RR and have no problems getting them either. Could it be the format of your email that is causing RR to reject them? I send in plain text only for this mailing list. -
Kasey, using https instead of http will give you a secure connection to the server. So yes, access would be https://yoursite.com/cpanel
-
Ping it. From a system prompt enter ping www.yoursite.com

Please open a Help Desk ticket and have one of the techs look at it. Personally I don't use counters since I have full access to page counts in AwStats which is more reliable than a counter.

Problem Delivering Mail To Road Runner Email

When you are resending an individual message does it get to the person's RR account? If so, is it the same message sent through the mailing list? I have a RR account and I don't seem to have any problem getting mail to it. -
Congrats, Zach and Ty! Thumbs Up

How To Backup Web Space Using Cpanel
TCH-Bruce replied to kaseytraeger's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Okay, I did some investigating and the filters and aliases are not for backing up folders and html or sql databases. It is for backing up your email filters and alias accounts you have created. So if you want to backup only part of your domain you will have to script something to do so. -
Glad to hear that it is resolved.

Try going into Cpanel and select the counter and reset it or recreate it. That should solve the problem. Don't forget to use the same name for the counter as you used before (texnmec).
