  1. Using March for my site: 1944 unique visitors - Google 376 - Yahoo 78 - MSN 47 Don't have a clue of my Page Rank but at one time it was a 4 I think.
  2. I think you should read the Terms of Service page. And also the Acceptable Use Policy page.

    Phpbb

Both boards are very good. I find changing skins and other appearance things simpler to do in phpBB. Invision has more control features. Depends on what you want to do with the board and how strick you want to make it.
  4. Talwynor, welcome to the family! I moved your thread to this forum since the other post was FrontPage specific. Hope you don't mind. Now to answer your question. No, you can not install the message boards to separate subdomains using cpanel. But you can do it by installing manually. You would have to download either phpBB or Invision on your own and then upload and install them where you wanted. It is possible to do. And yes, you can delete the forum and sql database to remove it.

  7. Welcome to the family, Darkcrest! We know you will enjoy your new extended family.
  8. Robert, I'd get a copy of TweakUI and try editing your mouse setting with that. For the wireless connection sounds like a bad PCMCIA card.
  9. I see the same as !!blue does in image posted. And !!blue in your sig, all I've seen for weeks has been a black box.
  10. No, you should be good to go. When you receive your welcome email it should be ready to go. Glad to have you as a part of the family.
  11. Oh, that wasn't the reason for getting a new destop! I just wanted something new.
  12. Thanks Bob, but when I had the problem I did all those things. Also refresh did nothing. My problem went away when I got a new desktop machine. Now I only use a 1meg cache on my machine since I have broadband.
  13. I've had this problem with XP. Seems the only thing that worked was to wait until the next day to get the updated info. Never did resolve it. Sorry can't offer a solution.
  14. BAM!
  15. You might want to take a look at the Ultimate Form Mailer script. It was designed to do exactly what you want.
  16. Anymore questions just ask. Someone will be sure to help.
  17. If you want to backup a specific subdomain just select it from the filtered list. You will be prompted to save it to your computer. This is not an option through cpanel. However you could write something yourself and create a cron job to run it.
  18. I found an interesting use for the HOSTS file. Take a look at this tutorial on how to use the HOSTS file to your advantage protecting you from spyware, adware and browser hijacking. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/index.php?showtutorial=51
  19. Here's how I do it. 1. Select Full Backup 2. Select to create the backup in my Home Directory 3. Enter an email address to inform you when it's done 4. Select Generate Backup You will receive an email when the backup is complete. Then open your FTP client and download it. A full backup will get your entire site including your databases. Thomas, I don't know what would be a good time. I usually make one on the weekends.
  20. If this is a shared server certificate please open a Help Desk ticket to support and let them know what server you are on.
  21. Kasey, when you run the backup it will create a tar.gz file in your root folder. You can then download that with an FTP client. If you needed to restore, you upload the file back to your root folder and recover from there.
  22. Glad I could help.
  23. Thank you Mike. I should have looked. I took that info directly from the readme.txt file. I failed to mention this tool also provides Whois functions. Just highlight the server and right click and select Whois ....
