  3. Welcome to the family and forums Noiz! And your new home.
  4. You should see the option to install it in your cPanel under CGI Scripts called phpMyChat. To configure and use it you can check out the documentation here: http://phpmychat.sourceforge.net/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=29 Moving for organization.

  6. You're welcome.
  7. PHP files are processed by the web server which will not output any information from that file. So unless they can download your config file you are safe.
  8. Sorry, I wasn't sure what you were asking. You could try www.hotscripts.com and see if you can find a script that tracks downloads. I think that would be what you are looking for.
  9. That should not be an issue. To ease your mind point your broswer to the wp-config.php file and then view the source of the file.
  10. Have you looked at your AwStats in your cPanel?
  11. I thought it was quite funny.
  12. Yep, sounds like you didn't add the user to the database. A common thing to overlook.
  13. Don, give the FireFTP extension a try. It basically turns Firefox into an FTP client. Pretty cool.
  14. Welcome to the family and forums, Terraborn Glad you could join us.
  15. Here's another option if you want to use a browser interface. Use Firefox and download the FireFTP extension. It provides simple drag and drop from your pc to your web server. The interface looks very similar to an FTP client. I tested it and it will display all files on the server.
  16. Welcome to the forums. Are you trying to use Explorer to log in and move files? I've never tried that. Have you tried with an FTP client?
  17. Welcome to the family and forums. Nice to have you here.
  18. You may want to delete the counter you created and start over. I just tested and it worked fine. If that does not solve the problem please open a Help Desk ticket (link above) and have one of the techs have a look. Where are my manners! Welcome to the family and forums, Karen!
  19. Unless you have a dedicated server the answer would have to be no since you need to start a service (daemon) which you would not have access to do.
  20. loin
  21. Thank you all
  22. The only way I know to do that is to open another window without a toolbar to eliminate the possibility.
  23. I've always accessed it with www. as does my wife. Thanks for the info though. May help someone else.
  24. Interesting. Glad you found something that works. Also, glad your move was smooth and you are happy.
  25. Sorry, don't know why you are having that problem then. I can't imagine that permissions would be a problem since as you say you can get back in and it works.
