  3. Hi Coho, and welcome to the family and forums. That should be all you need to do. Remove the folder and all sub folders you installed into. Then in cPanel remove the database you created using the MySQL database function.

  16. If the above steps won't work for you, I suggest opening a Help Desk ticket (link at top of page) to support and have one of the techs have a look into it. Question before you open the help desk ticket. You are using an FTP client, right? You are not trying to log in using your browser, right?
  17. Yes, the folders have to have 777 permissions to work correctly because the scripts are not running under your cpanel user name.

  21. Welcome to the family and forums, Jim! I just tried and it worked for me. From a command line. I used ftp mydomain.ext It prompted me for my ftp username and password.
  22. Well, I don't know what you could be doing worng. I just tested it. I have a phpbb forum located in a folder called "forum" I created an FTP user called phpbb, gave it a password, and put "forum" in the third box. I opened my FTP client and entered the following: site: ftp.mydomain.ext user: phpbb@mydomain.ext password: password I assigned Logged me directly into the "forum" folder.
