Welcome to the family and forums fairdesigns. As Dick pointed out, the domain name purchase is separate from the web hosting package.

Okay, a little more info. I added the txt for my editor of choice. If I double click it opens in Notepad (default windows association) when I right click on the file and select View/Edit it opens in the editor of my choice.
-
I downloaded it and played with it. I set up my editor to be a different editor than notepad. When I double click on an HTML file it opens in my default broswer for viewing. If I right click and select View/Edit it opens in the application I added to edit that extension with. Did you add a txt path-to-crimson in the custom file associations box?

Get the 'ieview' extension for those times you hit a page that won't work in FF. All you need to do is right click and Open the same page in IE. Cool extension. Oh yeah, glad you are giving it another go and not having problems.

Hang tight, there are several users here that use CSB and will be along to offer you some help. Moving for organization.

Premature End Of Script Headers! Perl Help!
TCH-Bruce replied to gorriedt's topic in Installing Scripts
I had TCH-Rick have a look and he discovered this: Bad name after adminemail' at saf_cfg.lib line 31. Compilation failed in require at ./saf_setup.cgi line 65. So it looks like there is something wrong with the saf_cfg.lib file. I don't know if that is much help but you can go back to the site where you purchased the script and ask them. Or you may want to remove all of it and start over. -

Premature End Of Script Headers! Perl Help!
TCH-Bruce replied to gorriedt's topic in Installing Scripts
I've dabbled in perl but usually when you get a 500 internal error the file was uploaded in binary mode instead of ascii. But you say that you uploaded in ascii. The perms are correct. Can you give us a link to where you got the script? -
Welcome to the forums Karen. I'll add that I too think there is nothing wrong with the Dummies books. I have been reading the PHP and MySQL one recently.

BTW, welcome to the family and forums Steve!

You need to go to your registrar for your domain name and change the nameservers from PARK19.SECURESERVER.NET PARK20.SECURESERVER.NET to NS1.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM NS2.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM

Anyone wishing to respond to the above post please do so with PM to Berlie. We don't want to advertise other hosting companies. Any posts referring to other hosting companies will be removed. Thanks for understanding.

Lee, you will need to open a support ticket with the help desk and ask if they can restore a backup for you. We as mods don't have access to the servers our user acconts.
-
If there is an upgrade option in cPanel you should be able to. If not following MikeJ's instructions will fix you up.

Not sure if this will help but you may want to read this thread. http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...?showtopic=9922

I tried your listing and saw it in under 2 seconds on a cable connection

There are limits to the amount of email that you can send on a shared server. You can use a list manager like Dada Mail http://mojo.skazat.com/ to batch your list into smaller groups. Upgrading to any other plan besides a dedicated server will not allow you to send any more messages than you current plan.

Without a link it would hard for anyone to offer any help or suggestions.

Very strange but glad you have it sorted out.
