  1. Welcome to the family and forums Piers
  2. Welcome to the forums basil. There are no immediate or future plans to allow Java to run on the shared servers.
  3. Hi Steve, I can see your forum fine and it is updated. You didn't receive the email before you did because it was only sent last week. The security bulletin was posted on the forums in November. Some people upgraded when it was posted. phpBB boards came under attack to this vulnerability early last week. TCH made a decision to send the email and start disabling the non-secure phpBB forums to protect the servers if updates were not applied. Don't know what the error messages mean. Are you still getting them?
  4. Welcome to the famliy and forums sensory!
  5. Welcome to the family and forums, adolfo
  6. Thank you for the info. I'm sure it will help others.
  7. Welcome to the Family Gatfishing
  8. Isn't that the truth. I thought I was good, but Dick is the master!
  9. Welcome to the family and forums, Patti.
  10. Sounds more like your email address has been spoofed. This happens to everyone eventually. If you are running virus protection, know your machine is not infected and you did not send the messages then you will just have to wait out all the bounces you are about to receive.
  11. Yes, it was posted and patches have been appied. http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...showtopic=16651 Thank you for your concern.
  12. Open a support ticket with the help desk. I have used this feature and it worked fine.
  13. If you installed phpBB through cPanel there should be a one click option to upgrade to 2.0.11 If not then check the phpBB site, I'm sure they have instructions.
  14. Don't know the answer to your question. I would recommend updating your MT installation to something newer than 2.661 though. Moving for organization for better exposure.
  15. While you are asking for verification and that would be nice. TCH has no control over the programs included in cPanel. So the responsible party would be the cPanel team.
  16. Welcome to the family and forums, aerojockey!
  17. Brian, please see this post. http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...topic=17054&hl=
  18. Welcome to the Forums bknowles
  19. Hi oogie and welcome to the family. If you cannot get the patch to run from a cron job, you can upload the patch file and then open a support ticket with the help desk and give all the information they would need to run it for you.
  20. Hi Christy, I can say this, Wordpress is quite a bit different to MT. I started with Blogger moved to MT and now to Wordpress. Of the three I like Wordpress the best. It is a bit daunting at first but there are good tutorials on the Wordpress site about the index.php and wp-layout.css file. So you should be able to modify it easily enough. You can also go to http://www.alexking.org for already made templates. He has plenty.
  21. NP, sometimes we always forget the simple things.
  22. Use your FTP client or File Manager in cPanel to delete it.
  23. This may be a new threat and TCH-MikeJ posted other vulnerabilites in this thread back in November. http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...showtopic=14581
  24. And the Camaro and Firebird too!
  25. That's the one I have.
