If by reset you mean start over. You could delete the entire folder where the forum is installed. And then delete the database the forum uses. Now you would be back to square one. Moving for organization.

You need to click the folder icon to the left of public_html. That will open up that folder and display other folders and files. Then find the invision folder and click the folder icon to open it. Now you should see the html folder. Click the icon to the left of that and you should see the emoticons folder. Do not click on the name of the folder but the folder icon to the left of the name.

Where ever you installed your forum. I assume you installed it into a sub folder of your public_html folder. You need to go into what ever folder youinstalled the forum to and then the html folder there. You will then see the emoticons folder.

Try the html folder where you loaded your forum. There should be a folder called emoticons

You need to change the folder that stores the emoticons to 777 permission levels. Moving for organization

And I will just add one more piece of information here. TCH does not monitor your site to see what software you have installed. But if something on your site causes a problem on a server they will investigate the cause and suspend you. For that simple reason a generic email was sent to everyone hosting here at TCH reminding them to keep their scripts updated.

Hope you feel better soon. I had sinus problems a few years ago that ended up with having surgery. Not fun, but I haven't had any problems since.

You already posted the info here didn't you? First post above. I was suggesting asking support to have a look at it.

Your server number, your cpanel name and password and that you don't have Invision in your cPanel.

If Invision is not displaying and that is the one you want to install, please open a help desk ticket and they will add it to your cPanel.

Make sure your passwords are secure. If you are using any of the forum or blog programs make sure you have the most recent security patches installed. Moved for organization.

If you used a hotmail or similar account check your spam and junk folders.

That sounds like a scripting error. You would need access to the script to diagnose it. If the script is embedded into the page viewing the source will be all that's necessary. Otherwise you need access to the .js file that contains the code.
