When you create a database you also must create a user to access that database and add the user to the database. In the script your database name and user name would begin with your "cpanelname_"

Chud, I was able to view comments on all your archive pages just fine but only after viewing comments from your main page first. Very strange indeed.

Is your image folder you are uploading into set to 777 for permissions?

I would just install it the usual way. If there are problems with ownership after the installation you can open a support ticket with the help desk and ask them to change the ownership to your account.

I believe if you create a folder named "scgi-bin" and placed the script in that folder it will run as you and not nobody.

Well, look at that. cPanel has been updated again. From the looks of Image Manager it looks like you can create thumbnails for a directory of images, scale an image to another size and convert images from one format to another. What type of stats configuration are you looking for?

Welcome to the forums joseftu! Yes, Spam Karma now does tackle trackback spam. It's in the experimental stage but it's been killing all of them to my blog.

I'll have to check out Kitten's Spaminator but I have never been emailed to "approve comments" SK killed. Are you sure you had both the WP discussion options and SK options configured correctly? I'm not pushing SK but I have not had a spam comment since installing it. (knock on wood).

Hi kj, Are you using Spam Karma by chance? If yes, delete the entire blacklist. It's now part of Spam Karma 1.18. I had the same problem on two of my sites.

If you did not install Movable Type then yes, you are safe. Movable Type is a blogging software. In it's simplest terms a blog is a web journal you create and can allow people to comment on what you write.
