From the WordPress web site TCH meets these requirements.

You don't need to transfer the domain to TCH. You just need to log in to your domain register account and change the DNS (Domain Name Servers) to point to the ones in your welcome email.

I run WordPress here as do others with no problems. The servers are configured with Apache 1.3.x I believe. What in WordPress would require Apache 2?
