  1. I have 4 active email accounts and I've been getting sporadic timeouts today on 3 of the accounts. Is there any maintenance going on that might be causing this? I'm on the R2D2 server. Thanks!
  2. Actually, I don't agree that phpList is easier to use. I started out with it and couldn't figure out half of what I was supposed to do. That's why I switched to MyMail. It's also free -- and much more user-friendly. Re: the database -- you've sorta answered my question, but not really. I think I'm just going to have to do more research and play with the script a bit more. Thanks anyway!
  3. I set up a MySQL database to use with PHPlist, but found the script too difficult to work with so I installed MyMail. When configuring the script, I used the same database. However, in testing I've discovered some features aren't working (e.g., validate subscriptions). Should I have created a new database to use with the MyMail script? I'm not familiar with how MySQL works, but I did notice when I went into phpMyAdmin that PHPlist files are the only ones shown. This is what made me think I needed to create a new database for the MyMail script. Help? Thanks!
  4. Thanks to all for the welcome & for your input. Actually, I finally figured it out on my own. This is the path I ended up using: /home/username/public_html/redicart I finally found it in cPanel/File Manager. It was pretty obvious if you know what to look for. Thanks again.
  5. I'm trying to install a cgi shopping cart script. Everything seems to be working EXCEPT when I type in the URL to test the script, I keep getting the error message that there's no such file or directory. In the script instructions, it says to "Enter the BASE PATH to the directory containing your header and footer" and gives this example -- /usr/home/web/foo.com/www/redicart. At first, I tried replacing my domain name for "foo.com" and left everything else as is. This didn't work, so I've tried various combinations without success. I'm positive there's a folder called "redicart" in the base directory and in that folder is the header and footer files. What am I missing? Help???? Thanks!
