totalchoicehosting.com is white-listed in my Spam Assassin and in my email client anything coming from @totalchoicehosting.com gets filtered to a separate folder.

Glad your acccount is back and active. What I do is filter any email from TCH to a separate folder within my email. I never lose a message coming from TCH.
-
Glad you got it back. May want to think about updating it. You are not running the current version.
-
Well your account was physically moved to another server. I'm not saying the permissions have changed and they should not have normally. But things sometimes happen. Your version should be updated as well.

What version of Gallery and is the file writable?

Never ends, does it? Thanks Thomas.

I'd send the author an email.

If they don't have flash installed they won't see it.

Lianna, we miss you around here too!

Create a folder in your "public_html" folder and give it 777 permissions. Upload your photos to there to do the import. Then remove the images from the temporary folder and either delete the folder or change the permissions to 755 when complete.

Good luck Steve! *TCH-Bruce never wins anything -
If you have an email account on your domain and you also forward that account to another address both the domain address and the place you forwarded to will receive the email. And yes, you have to use name@your-domain.ext to access your account

And phpBB is now at version 2.0.20

Thanks for the update. Hopefully you won't have anymore problems.

Welcome to the forums Lindsay. You might want to check over at hotscripts.com TCH does not control what cPanel or Fantastico add to their offereings. You would have to suggest this to those sites.
-
To have your own Exchange server you would need a static IP address. But yes, you can store mail on the TCH servers and access it either with webmail, IMAP or POP clients.

5000 queries to the database. I had a bad plugin on my blog causing the problem. I only have 700 entries and 1500 comments but it queried the db 5000 times to get totals. I did not write the plugin so I do not know why it was doing what it was doing.

I agree with Don, we didn't get snow but it's only 38 degrees here today. It was 70 yesterday.

Don't know which would be faster but using javascript some users will not see the content you want to display if they have it turned off in their browser. javascript would have less of a load on the server because it runs client side. As for the number of querires, I had a problem on my site where it was generating over 5000+ queries and it still displayed the page in less than 5 seconds.

You could forward the emails from the old server to your ISP account and receive the emails there or you could change your email program to access the old mail server by IP number as well.

Hi Cindy, I've experienced the same problem from time to time. Is the address you set up in WP one on the same domain name or are you using an offsite email address to receive your comments? If it is the latter, create a forward in your cpanel and try that. Example: you have in you WP admin panel cindy[@]gmail.com change it to blog@your-TCH-domain and create a forward for blog@your-TCH-domain to go to cindy[@]gmail.com I've done this and haven't had a problem since.
