Yes, 646 will do it but remember to change them back to 644 so nobody else can edit them when you are done. I edit my theme files on my own PC and then FTP them back to the server when I am ready to use them.
  5. You can take your tags out and insert a div with font type courier which is a fixed font and set the size. That might help.
  6. You might want to try getting an answer in the official coppermine forum that Thomas linked too.
  7. No problem, let us know how it goes.
  8. Select the item in the list and follow the instructions that appear in the box on the right.
  9. And yes to your other question about the forward.
  10. Yes, changing the DNS will change the MX record if it is attached to the domain and most likely is. For your folks, change their current account to use the IP number of the email server they currently attach to. Set up a new email account in their email client to access the new IP (TCH) one until the DNS propagates.
  11. The simpleist way to not lose mail is to forward all mail on the old domain to your ISP account until the propagation finishes (up to 72 hours maybe longer for email). Then remove the forwards once the move has been completed. Else you will need two accounts set up in your email program accessing both email servers by IP number until the propagation has completed.
  12. Thanks David for clearing it up. It's been a while since I've used MT.
  13. You can try the IEView or IETab Firefox extensions. Sounds like your IE is set to block the site.
  14. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
  15. Correct, the ampersand is only going to prevent it from validating not displaying.
  16. The import will only be your entries and comments. You will also need to download your templates and upload them into the MT you just created. I'd also make sure you have a complete backup from your current host. Upload your mysql dump to the TCH server and open a ticket with the help desk and ask them to import it into your new DB here.

  18. There is nothing to do, that's the way it works in IE now.
  19. Ivan, there is nothing wrong with how you are creating your buttons. Anything now using Flash in IE will display this box. Nothing you can do. If you don't want to see the box I suggested that you use Firefox since it does not display the box.
  20. This was a security patch that Microsoft released. No you cannot remove it as far as I know. If you don't want to see it, I suggest and recommend that you use Firefox.
  21. If you have patched your IE you will see a box around the buttons. If you leave the cursor there you should see a balloon tip that says
  22. Welcome to the forums garys
  23. Here's an idea. Install a fresh copy into another folder. Import the current database into it. If it works, rename your current folder to something else and then name the new folder your current folder. If it's still working delete the old folder and DB.
