Scott, what's in cPanel is controlled by the folks at cPanel and not TCH. I would take the time to learn how to upgrade your forum manually as cPanel is always behind in versions it releases. If you want a forum that can be updated easily take a look at SMF (Simple Machines Forum). It's included with Fantastico, it's free and there is an update manager in the admin interface.

You know most people that require something and don't know if it's available here usually ask in the pre-sales forum. That's what it's there for.

There are currently no plans to move to PHP5. We have too many customers running PHP programs that could be detrimentally effected if it were switched. When they are sure that nothing will break they will add it. As for having specail servers with different configurations that's not going to happen. If you need or want a special configuration there is always the dedicated server option where you can put what ever you like on it.

Well the hosting plans page tells you what you are getting (PHP, Perl, etc versions) and the banned scripts will give you that informaiton.

Welcome to the forums Robert. There is no caching servers at TCH that I am aware of. There could be caching servers through your ISP though. Any changes I make to any of the web sites I maintain are displayed as soon as they are changed.

Sorry suzen, I was the one that led you astray. There is a Change Password function in cPanel for your account.

Oh, if you can get into your cPanel you should be able to use your cpanel name and password in your FTP program. If you have set up additional users to FTP then you should be able to change those passwords through cPanel.

That's the only way to get a password reset. The forums are manned by volunteers that do not have access to the servers or your account information. Not sure how you could have had it changed otherwise.

Please open a ticket with the help desk. Link above or in my signature. Where it prompts for password, enter UNKNOWN. They will probably want you to verify you are who you say you are so provide as much indentifying information as possible.
