Thomas already pointed to a thread explaing what a banned user would see and it is a "403 Forbidden" error.

I would recommend that you switch guestbook scripts to something that offers better support for spam control. You say you run Wordpress and are getting comment spam there too. Google for Spam Karma 2 and install it. Then say goodbye to comment spam on your blog.

Give Instant Domain Search a try. It's written in Ajax and supposed to show in real time whether the .com, .net, and .org domain names are available.

Sami, you can also set rules for the time of day they can use the Internet connection though the router. This can be done by IP address.
