You can create a folder without adding a subdomain. Just publish your new site to that folder to test.

No, I am referring to system backups that run on the server. Backups not only backup the server files but also users websites on the servers. Also, the stats program does not only do your account and all your customers accounts but all users on the server.

If the stats program is taking up too many resources while backups are being performed the stats program is automatically disabled. It takes someone to restart it. Since both the backups and the stats are server intensive the backups take precedence since they are of greater importance than stats. The logs are constantly updated so no stats are lost.

You can change the behavior by modifying the awstats.yourTCHdomain.conf file Changing the value to a 1 will add the button. As I said, beware of the consequences.

Never used Incredimail but Thunderbird is not much different than any other email client. If you used Outlook or Outlook Express you would be comfortable using Thunderbird.

Thomas is correct, it's access to all or nothing when it comes to cPanel.

There is only one version. He (or someone) has modified the configuration file to enable that option. Remember sitting there tapping that button will force AwStats to be run and if run too often will cause high loads on the server. AwStats is set to run once a day because of the loads it puts on the servers. I am not saying that you cannot enable that option. I am just making you aware of the consequences.

Unless you pay for a static IP it will continue to change. If you are not serving files from your own machine there really is no reason to have a static IP address. And if you have broadband it will change but not that frequently. Dial-up will change almost every time you dial in.

Unless the server is moved the IP will never change. Are you sure you are not referring to your IP being assigned by your Internet provider as the one changing?

Maybe the documentation will shed some light on it.
