Welcome to the forums hantms Unfortunately the answer to roll back to php4 is no, it's not possible without purchasing your own dedicated server.

Yes, those functions with the exception of curl are available for use on a starter plan. And curl may be available depending on how you are going to use it. To be sure open a ticket with the help desk (link above or in my signature) and ask to be sure. You can give them a sample of how you intend to use the curl function and they will tell you if it is allowed. For any information you do not have just enter N/A.

Delays like that can also be caused by virus and/or anti-spyware software running on your machine. But if it was running better before you put the new RAM in I would suspect the RAM.

When you select the File Manager you are presented with a dialog. There is a check box you need to check to show hidden files.
-
If there is not one in your public_html folder just create it. Make sure you have set your file mananger to display hidden files. A . before a filename in *nix denotes hidden files.

Matthew, check your PM. You are missing four lines from your wp-config.php file.
-
You did upload the wp-config.php file to your WordPress folder, correct? It only needs the following info defined.

What they are telling you to do is change your DNS servers to point to their IP address. In doing this your domain name will only be able to be used for your Tumblr blog. If you have other content you won't be able to access it with your domain name. I would suggest that you install your own blog software into your own account here and use that instead. I recommend WordPress. Or read the last tip on their page that states you can use a sub-domain like blog.yourdomain.ext but you would have to open a ticket with the help desk and have them modify the "A" record for the sub domain to point to that IP addess you posted. Then on their site enter your sub domain information for the custom domain name.

Modern, Secure As Possible Form Mail Script?
TCH-Bruce replied to Zach's topic in Script Suggestions
If you are happy with what you are using and it's secure I would recommend staying with it. We cannot recommend any scripts but can only recommend that you make sure the one you are using is secure. -
We all love to do it. So why not do it virtually. Have fun. Virtual Bubblewrap

This is a known issue and there are work arounds for it. I personally either FTP the image to where I want it and create a link. But if I am lazy, I use a program called BlogDesk which is a WYSIWYG editor that also has built in FTP capability. Worth a look.

Sorry, I don't use FrontPage so I can't help with that. I use a plain text editor to make modifications to my themes.
-
The rewrite rule I posted is supposed to do just that.

Yes, try removing the trailing "/". I wasn't sure if it was needed or not.
