  1. Much better I haven't used OSCommerce in a while (I have moved to Zen-Cart which is a OSC fork), but when I was playing with OSC, this site had alot of useful information: h**p://oscdox.com/ Good Luck!
  2. Robert, Did you install OSCommerce yourself, or did you do it through cpanel? I am seeing some weirdness (besides the images and css not showing in IE). For instance, your links are showing up without a slash: They look like this: http://www.wickedlywise.comlogin.php/ You might double check your config file and see if everything is set up correctly.
  3. Congratulations to Mike and Rob!!! Fantastic decision Bill! I know both will do great in their new positions!
  4. Hi youneverknow! Thanks very much! I'm glad you like the site! The Clove Grinder's Mill is relatively new and I haven't been able to get a photo yet, but, I am heading to St. Louis (where the store is) to be with my family for the holidays and I'll be taking lots of new product shots!
  5. Thanks very much Lisa!!!
  6. Congratulations! Perfect Choice! <--no reason to use Santa...I just wanted to!

    Snow!

Hee hee... this reminds me... We had exchange students living with us through out all of my teen years (14 total students total). Our first one was from Germany and lived with us for a year. She kept a list of the funniest questions that she was asked while she was here. The top of her list was from one of the people my dad worked with... "What color is the snow in Germany?"!!! Thinking the woman was joking, she replied "purple" and the woman said "OHHHHH! Really??" (she seriously believed her).
  8. Laura, I am wondering if it could be your browser settings??, I logged in and closed the browser and when I went back, I wasn't logged in. I think for security reasons, that this is really the way it should be so if someone else uses the computer, they aren't already logged into someone elses account. Sending a PM with other information Ellen
  9. Hi Laura! To be honest, I don't recall making any changes to the cookie settings...however I was working on this on and off for a couple of months so I could have done something at the beginning that I don't recall (heck, I can't recall what I did last week LOL) I'll PM you the settings I have in Admin under Sessions to see if they match up with yours.
  10. Sorry, don't know the answer to your first question..but I think took your purple pen. Here, you can have it back now. Sorry
  11. matzofast, You really need to enter a Help Desk Ticket so that the techs can check it out. The most of the moderators on the forum do not have access to the servers and the tech support staff don't monitor the forums as frequently.
  12. 54 °F / 12 °C in Dallas. I think Rick should host the next TCH get-together!!
  13. GEEZ, just watching that video made my computer feel "dirty", so I ran ad-aware, even though I just ran it Monday, and I don't use IE. (it didn't find anything ). I don't get how people still use IE on a regular basis (I do occasionally use it to check out websites I'm working on, and for sites that aren't working correctly in Firefox). I have installed Firefox on several friends and family members computers and shown them how to use it, and explained that it is much safer to use, but they STILL insist on using IE. Maybe I will copy this video to CDs and put that in everyone's stocking for Christmas.
  14. From what I read in that article, it (could be) a corrupt identity. I don't use OE, but could you create a new identity, set up an email account in it and have someone send you a jpg to that new account and see if that jpg works correctly? If it works, then at least you will know it's your old identity.
  15. Randy, This doesn't refer to your exact symptoms, but I found this on MS site. It looks like a whole lot of work, plus messing with your registry, so maybe wait to see if someone else comes along with another suggestion. Here is the link to the article if all else fails: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;314424
  16. Does it only happen to jpgs you received via email? Can you open other jpgs on your computer?
  17. I haven't tried it, but take a look at this thread: Revised: Give Access To Awstats, without giving access to cPanel!
  18. It's been a long time since working with this kind of technology, but I would suggest doing a google search for "fax server" and "fax on demand" I don't think this is something you can set up on your hosting here. But I could be wrong. Depending on the type of phone system they have (if this is a bigger company), if they are using an IVR they may already have a fax on demand system available to them. (Basically, their client calls a specific number or company extension, selects a fax to receive then enters in their fax number and the fax is automatically sent)
  19. I cannot tell you which to use, but there are user created modules for other systems that are not included in the default OSCommerce install. Look here http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions/category,1/page,1
  20. Thanks guys! I am so glad you like it. I've had a site up for our store for a couple years, but wasn't really happy with it. So I just revamped it using Zen-Cart and now that I am happy with it, I thought I would go ahead and get it added to the family Thanks again! Ellen
  21. 1. Voltaire's Cup 2. Voltaire's Cup 3. Family-owned Gourmet Coffee, Tea, Food and Spice store in St. Louis, Missouri. 4. Commercial Site 5. Link to TCH in footer of each page.
  22. If your www folder is sitting inside your public_html folder, I think you may need to enter a support request... I don't think that is right and could be causing problems.
  23. Just a thought, you may want to login to cpanel and change your password and try it again. Maybe you wrote it down wrong or something. I have in the past changed passwords to an account and then A. forgot I did it, and B. forgot what I set it to, C. Wrote it down wrong. A B and C all happened to me last month. I see alzheimers on the horizon for me.
  24. Maybe there was a problem in the import that is causing the account within Outlook not to work. If you haven't already, I would delete the account in Outlook and create a new account from scratch. Make sure your POP3 and SMTP are both mail.creativeprinter.com and that your login is your full email address, ie: youremail@creativeprinter.com. If all that fails, and changing your port to 26 didn't work, you could always use your ISP's SMTP settings for sending mail. They may be blocking both 25 and 26 I guess.
  25. I am not sure what you mean, you had it set up in Outlook Express then imported the account into Outlook? Was it working in Outlook Express? Has it ever worked in either Outlook Express or Outlook? What is your smtp settings on that account in Outlook? Should be mail.****** for both POP3 and SMTP.
