Can you post the script here?
-
You have nothing set for action="". This causes the form to try to POST to itself. Try setting the action to point to QouteRequest.php

All you need to do with the domain name is renew it, then once you have a hosting account set up for it here change the name servers at the place you have it registered to point to our name server ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com Most registrars wont allow you to transfer a domain when it is within 30 days of expiring, or if it has been renewed for less than 30 days.

no, we do not accept money orders or checks. We accept paypal and credit card as methods of payment.

It is a setting that is per server, we are also notified automatically if an account tried to exceed that limit. I'm not 100% certain but I believe it is per e-mail address, if it wasnt we would have a lot more reports of accounts exceeding the limit and probably even more angry customers.

Temporary Use Of Subdomain In Starter Plan?
TCH-Dick replied to tommyhilfiga's topic in Pre-Sales Questions
I may be off here, but I dont think he was aksing for a free subdomain to test, if you open an account you will get a temp url that you can access your site by. If your not happy simply cancel within the 1st 30 days for a refund. -
The domain name has been changed, everything else like username and password you recieved in the welcome e-mail stays the same.

I think Bills biggest complaint is how bloated trillian has become between version 2 and 3

Exclude My Ip Completely From The Logs
TCH-Dick replied to kitsch's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Since you have a static IP this can be done with ease. In the home directory go to /tmp/awstats. You will find a file named awstats.yoursite.com.conf, if you have subdomains there will also be files named awstats.sub.yoursite.com.conf. Open each of these files and find this section ># Do not include access from clients that match following criteria. # If your log file contains IP adresses in host field, you must put here # matching IP adresses criteria. # If DNS lookup is already done in your log file, you must put here hostname # criteria. # Note: Use space between each value. # Example: "127.0.0.1 163.84. 201.101.51.1" # Example: "localhost abcxyz" # Default: "" # SkipHosts="" Change SkipHosts="" to SkipHosts="y.ou.r.ip" Save each file back to your site and set the permissions for each to 444. If you don't set the permissions then the changes will be overwritten when the server updates. -
I just wanted to add something here also, we do not provide support for setting up 3rd party scripts/software. Any of the popular blogging software would fall into this catagory. There are however many many forum users here that are always willing to lend a hand with things like that. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of this before hand.

is it possible? Yes is it easy? No Theres been several attempts to port IPB into PHPNuke most of them failed miserabley. Theres a couple of mods for phpnuke that let you disply other content from an outside source within a phpnuke site so that it LOOKS like its a module oh phpnuke, if you went this route tho site visitors would still need to sign up twice, once for phpnuke and once for ipb. Take a look at nukecops.com theres usually several threads on their forums about integrating ipb into nuke.

We do not provide SSH access, as far as coming back and telling you that you need a dedicated server.....if we feel that you need one, yes we will tell you. If your site starts causing problems for other sites on the same server your site may be suspended. Virtual hosting is not the ideal solution for a high traffic site, being popular has its disadvantages, and when it comes to hosting that disadvantage is usually the price your willing to pay. If you have already been told by other hosts that you need a dedicated server, odds are in time you'll hear the same from us. We simply cant let one site on a server affect all the other sites in a negative way.

New accounts are set up manually, it is not an automated process. We used to have automated account set up but due to the increase in fraudulent accounts being created we went back to manual account creation. Fraud accounts cost TCH money, which in the long run could have caused us to increase prices to compensate, manually creating accounts keeps the fraud issues down as well as the costs associated with fraud accounts.

Once your account is set up you will get a welcome e-mail with all of the info (username, password, IP address) you'll need for FTP etc. Then you'll just need to FTP your files to the server. Welcome to the family

The domain service is separate so you need to create an account. Check your bulk/spam folder on the email account you signed up with. If your welcome email is not there, then drop a ticket to the Help Desk(link at the top of this page). Use N/A or unknown for the User and Pass.

Glad you found what you needed You can also highlight any text > right click > goto Selection > there you will find several options.

Username: cpanelusername_databaseusername Password: dbpass Hostname: yoursite.com or server IP Port: 3306

Just make sure the DOCTYPE for your page is set to XHTML, then goto Commands > Apply Source Formatting

Pre-sales Question Re Invision Boards
TCH-Dick replied to gabbarsingh's topic in Pre-Sales Questions
Version 1.3 was never available via cpanel you had to manually upgrade from 1.2 to 1.3. IPB no longer provides a free version of their software and 1.3 is no longer available for download. -
did you enter a domain name? I have never been able to repeat that error but some have told me they get it when they dont enter a domain name. A domain name is required on the order form.
