  1. Thanks for the recommendation. I have visited the Web site, and it looks pretty good. I have downloaded the zip file, but have not attempted the install. Did you do the install and configure? Are you using TCH for the hosting of your newsletter? My question is -- can I set up my own mailing list for my customers rather having them sign up themselves. This is for information that each customer would need to know. Thanks again.
  2. I have read previous messages in the forum after searching on "newsletter", but I still need more direction. I would like to send out a monthly newsletter to about 300 customers. We have their email addresses. Is there a "best way" to accomplish this? I am starting from scratch. I would like a template (I suppose I could design one in Dreamweaver), but is there a good resource for this type of communication? This forum is a great resource. Many times I have found my solution without starting a discussion. Thanks to all of you for taking time to respond.
  3. Thanks for your reply. That gives me another way to accomplish my task. Actually last night I solved my problem another way by going to Edit > Preferences > Code Formatting (or Rewriting, can't remember) and made sure that lowercase was selected, then checked to allow DW to Override the tags. When I opened the "offensive" HTML doc, DW automatically overwrote the uppercase tags to lowercase. Thanks for your suggestion. I like that one, too. Good for individual docs. TCH is certainly the place to be. If I can't find my answer already posted in the Forum, you all are so quick to reply and very pleasant. I'm loving my new home!
  4. Just read a post from a year ago which indicated that the Convert function in DW MX 2004 would convert uppercase tags to lowercase for XHTML. I have inherited a site that I am converting to XHTML and that would be nice. However, when I go to Modify > Convert I do not see that choice -- only two choices for converting tables and layers. Maybe I am missing something. Any help is appreciated. That would make life a lot easier. Thanks.

Just learned ASP. So I should convert those files to what? -- for the Linux servers
  6. Thanks for moving my discussion to the proper forum. I appreciate your help. Hopefully, this will be the end of this thread.
  7. I went to Help Desk first, but my password was required before I could Submit. Since my password has been reset, and I don't know what it is, I seem to be in a Catch 22. I have received previous emails from TCH, so it seems that my email address would be OK, maybe not. Any further suggestions? Thanks to all.
  8. I am new to TCH and just getting around to CPanel. When I tried to login to CPanel via mysite.com/cpanel, I obviously wasn't using the correct password. I chose to reset the password and recieved the response that a new password would be sent to my email. Did this yesterday and again today, but no email response. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Thanks for any help getting started.
