Hi Mike! Congrautulations and welcome to the Family
-
If everyone is using the same theme, it is much easier to tell a person how to accomplish a task in cpanel.
-
Thomas, I used Mozilla to try it, which is like netscape 6. what version of netscape are you using?
-
Thomas (who is not a newbie), for netscape, The default account user name (your cpanel name) is cpanelname but for other accounts that you create it is name@yoursite.com the server name is mail.yoursite.com
-
Welcome to the family yes if you need anything, there is always someone around.
-
Welcome to our family You will love it here in your new home Thumbs Up

If you right click each page in the map, you can change the meta tags: title, short title, the html name, i.e about, which will become about.htm discription, and key words. As CuteSite Builder is like a word proccessor, it does not read or load a web page or html. It stores all in a file with a name like mysite.tlx But you can open a web page in a browser window and copy and paste text and images from the browser to your CSB page. see kw's CSB Support Home Page for more info.

"toto, I Have A Feeling That We're Not In Kansas

And after you have your web site up and running, You can add forums like this one or a guestbook. Also you can add other scripts that you find, like the Gallery we posted about earlier, which is a photo gallery. At my previous host, I just had space, no scripts or tools. So you can imagine, when I came here and saw all the goodies, I was like a kid at candy store that had just been told, "help your self" Dance I have added most of the goodies to my site (built with Cutsite Builder). And there are lots of family members here to help. you may want to take another crack at cutesite builder, its roots are very much like the on site builder you like. There are lots of us here using it that can help. -
OMG! google search Dance P.S. thank you Scott, I followed your suggestions to others. Added my search phrase to the title.

this site made with Trellix ( now Cutesite Builder) has a cart, http://www.swgalleries.com This site made by our own kw, shows you can have a cart or catalog. The links from the first page of this thread cantake you to kw's site and the above link. One of the other links, to Samantha's site shows how much you can do with the program. The program has a user supported forum like this to help. -

Tara, what problems did you have with CuteSite Builder? It is very much like a word processor with pre built templates, that can easily be modified. Content is added by clicking a place and typing. -
You are welcome.
-
What I did is to send the form to an email address like contact@ and in cpanel set up forwards to dept1@ dept2@ dept3@ note contact@ is just made up, not a seperate created account. It works just fine.
-
Ah, I think Eric has the best deal
-
Thanks to kw for the well written instructions Thumbs Up
-
Has your domain name propagated yet? from the total choice help site
-
Bill, I went to the Total Choice Hosting help site, looked at third party apps, gallery install instructions. downloaded gallery and copied the install instructions 'How to Install 'Gallery' (Detail Instructions)'. I pasted them into my text editor, and followed it a step at a time. I did name the album folder, album, and had to back up and rename it albums. then it all worked. I think these instructions are clearer than the ones in the tar file.

Email Forward To Multiple Accounts?
TCH-Don replied to cheapwebsolutions's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
This is also a good way to forward the contents of a form to multiple departments. Say the form goes to company@ forward it to dept1@ and dept2@ and dept3@ -
Good for you Wesley, you have a right to be proud Thumbs Up
-
There is a set of movies for resellers on the help site. There you can see how to add an account and much more. you may have already seen these, but if not, they may explain a lot.
-

Inktomi Loves My Message Board And Nothing Else

Modify IPB logo first change permissions for /Skin/s1/skin_global.php CHMOD to 0777 via FTP. IBF cannot do this for you. goto skins and templates manage html templates manage html global html elements select Board Header (logo, links, etc) > edit about 14 lines down you will find the place to modify. look for img src='{ibf.vars.img_url}/logo.jpg' this is what I have ><td align='left'><a href='/home/' target="_top" title='Back To The Pets Corner'> <img src='{ibf.vars.img_url}/logo.jpg' border='0'></a> </td> the <a href='/home/' points to a folder 'home' but you can just use '/' to point to your site then CHMOD /Skin/s1/skin_global.php back to 644 -
Here is one simple example that should work in most browsers. ><HTML> <HEAD> <TITLE> </TITLE> <script LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> <!-- Begin window.location="http://example.com/folder/";; // End --> </script> <meta http-equiv="refresh" CONTENT="0; url=http://example.com/folder/"> </HEAD> <body> <a href="http://example.com/folder">click to goto example.com/folder</a> </body> </HTML> p.s. I use this on my old tripod site thepetscorner.tripod.com to send old links to my new site.

Inktomi Loves My Message Board And Nothing Else

On mine, the forum is displayed in a frame, but the logo is a link back to the home page. I still wonder why it would take so long, four days now, for only 90 posts? currently 14 are there. I am not worried, just wondering.
