I think the instructions here could use some updating I dont think doing this here will work: 5. Point your browser to run the configuration script: (www,yoursite.com/squirrelmail-1.4/config/conf.pl)
-
i thought conf.pl needed to be run from the command line (ie shell access via ssh)

Actually, the only reason I got the mac was to learn how mac os works.. I do level 2 support for a major isp, and I needed to learn how to use it.. and hand's on is the best experience.. other than that.. it sits in my basement turned off.. doing nothing.. I will never be a 'switcher'

Why Are Users Required To Log In All Of A Sudden?
Larry replied to bubba_nuts's topic in Family Forums News and Updates
I've noticed this very same thing. if I type in http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/ I don't have to log in again. but if I click on the forums link from the main website, I have to login again.. but if i click a forum out of the list, it shows me as logged in again wierd. -
the welcome.to/beatles part is not really a domain name... you would need to register a real domain name to have something like that work correctly. and then have welcome.to/beatles foward to your domain name..

last time i used earthlink back in july, i had to use earthlinks outgoing mail servers.. they blocked other servers..
-
just a fyi, check out www.gotapex.com they always post links to dell's site with super good deals on monitors, they got a link for a 20 inch dell lcd for 743 right now, and a 18 incher for 383 or so.. now only if i could actually get the money to afford one of them

looks nice.. definitly has a clean look to it..

rename the Index.html to index.html The webserver's are ran on a UNIX platform, thus it's case sensitive...

It looks like Horde has had mixed support for seeing the HTML portion of an email within the body: here looks like the biggest reason it doesn't do it by default is for security reasons.. horde doesn't want to turn out like outlook express did

I must say mail2web works pretty darn good.. My job blocks just about everything though. anything but port 80, and anything related to webmail. (yahoo,hotmail,myrealbox.. you name it) (and to think im supposed to be supporting the internet for them) least my domain isnt blocked... yet.

I set one of them 'Catch-A-Call' boxes up for my Aunt. It works fairly well.. The one thing I noticed, which is listed in the instruction book is that if you pick up a call, you will usually get disconnected from the internet. It's worth it if you only have 1 phone line, and need to be able to recieve calls no matter what.
-
one thing to note, it took ssh access for me to set it up.. as it uses a perl script to configure the settings which needs to be ran from the command prompt. its easy to setup if you go to the squirrelmail website, they got a faq section with quick and dirty install instructions took a total of 5 minutes for me to install it..
