How Often Does Tch Do A Backup On A Server?
Head Guru replied to sarumonkey's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Relax. Once the restore is done we will sync your account with the old drive. You will loose nothing. Just be patient, the maint. window is still in progress. -
Things are just peachy at TCH. The server your account is hosted on had a hardware failure when we uploaded a new driver for the RAID card. We could not control this and we were unable to gain access back to the data. We did however restore our most recent backup of your site and your site was returned to service in a short while. Whilst it is not directly our responsibility to maintain backups for your data, we do run backups on a weekly basis. In this case the backup was from October 21, 2007. If you review the terms of service that you agreed to when signing up for our budget hosting services, you would have clearly noted that the end user is responsible for his/her own backups. We only maintain backups on our end for our own self preservation. I am sorry your not happy with our service, however as a budget host we do provide a very reliable, quick and long term hosting solution. I have also replied to your several emails.

Sudden Javascript Errors In Joomla-run Website

Drop a ticket in and we can take a look for you -
We have worked on this issue for many long hours and have not been able to determine the cause of the issue. So what we have done until the issue is resolved is we are moving accounts to new servers that are not effected by this issue. I am sorry for this issue and sorry for the length of time it has taken us to work the issue, but to be honest we simply are stumped by the issue. Please open a ticket and we will glady move your account to a new server that will not have this issue. This issue is only effecting a very small amount of accounts on the server. Thank you.
-
Just open a ticket and we will resolve the issue with a server move for you. We have a few servers that are showing this same problem and we have been unable to resolve the issue, therefore we are moving accounts to brand new servers
-
Hours later and we are still digging. We can move your accounts to a server that is not effected by this. Just simply put in a support ticket and we can begin the move process. With that being said we are still working on this.

Aware and working on a solution.

I think we are getting close to a fix on this. My ENTIRE staff is working to correct this issue.

We are aware of this problem and are working on solving it. You have been a long time client and our track record speaks for itself. Please give us sometime as we work thru this issue.

I think the best distro for Windows CONverts is Xandros. It is very good.

What made you switch in 1996 to Windows? What made you go back to Mac OS in 2004?
-
You can use PHPList as suggested by Bruce. I have used it in the past and it performed well.

Good points on several issues, other issues I do not agree with. The Ipod is a great success because of the way it was designed. Period. It is the most fundamentally sound Mp3 player I have ever used. It's great sucess had nothing to do with "trends".

MS is a joke.

50% of 1.33 million is 5 ? Another great example of public schooling.

Apple did loose their footing in the OS war. However, the switch has begun in earnest. 1.33 million Mac's were sold last fiscal quarter. 17 million Visitors walked thru the many Apple Outlet Stores 50% of buyers were NEW to the Mac OS 13% of the Laptop market is now owned by Apple.
