On to your questons - Servers - We have servers in datacenters in Michigan, New Jersey, Canada, Ohio, Georgia and Texas. We colocate in multiple datacenters for a very simple reason. That reasons being - If we had all our servers in lets say nac.net and that data center caught on fire http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...=ST&f=46&t=2328 then we would have THOUSANDS of customers down. Makes no sense. So what we do is choose the best datacenters around and colocate our own servers there. Basicly we buy or build the servers, ship them to the datacenter, rent rack space and the datacenter simply plugs them in for us. Then if a hardware issue occurs, sometimes the datacenter takes care of it for us, however in most cases I employ one full time tech person per datacenter to monitor and take care of hardware. Its a perfect solution. So that is why we have never had all our servers down at once, like the other hosting companies. All Server Administration is done by my staff of excellent Linux Admins. Nothing is outsourced! Sorry at this time end users do not have a choice of what server they are placed on. We are currently running new clients on DELL DUAL XEON SERVERS. Goofy? We have just removed formail from all the servers again. It has been exploited again by spammers. I will update when I know more. Bill

I personally repsonded to your email about the formail issues. We do not return phone calls for non-emergency support issues. So if you left a message at the NOC and it was not emergency based you will not get a response. Formail has once again just been disabled on all the servers. We are sending a email out to all our users about this as I type this. Live chat is available in 4 different flavors. AOL IM, Yahoo IM, MSN IM and the Live Operator Chat. The IM's are staffed 24/7 in most cases. Also, the best way to get support is not to email, it is to submit a help desk ticket. Todd, This can be done but its kinda tricky with awstats. Create a subdomain called whatever.domain.com or do the following in the /home/username/www directory. cd /home/user/www/whatever cp /usr/local/cpanel/base/awstats.pl . ln -s /usr/local/cpanel/base/images images ln -s /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/lib lib The very big draw back is the copy of awstats.pl. If changes happen to the original then this one would need to be manually updated. Also the images part, because awstats looks for /images it must be at the top level directory. Also can be done for webalizer Steps to access stats in cPanel without going through the control panel, and without (at your discretion) using a password. Create a symlink in your public folder (/public_html) to the particular stat page you want to use. This example uses webalizer and a link called stats: ln -s /home/yourusername/tmp/webalizer stats /home/youruser/tmp - chmod to 755 /home/youruser/tmp/webalizer - chmod to 755 Call up http://www.******/stats/index.html - this will pull up the webalizer stats for the site.
