Due to massive growth in these forums and continued growth in traffic to our server, we are moving our main site to a new server. Alan, Rick and I have been working on this behind the scenes for several days. This will improve not only the main TCH site and these forums, but while were at it, we are upgrading the master DNS server. This should provide much faster dns looksups for all sites hosted on TCH. I will post updates as we get right down to the wire.

Yes it will remain the same and here is why. Our focus has ALWAYS been on customer service and not new sales. Our servers will remain strong, I will not allow them to be oversold like so many other companies do when they grow. Instead of investing in more servers and spending money, they get greedy and load their servers with to many clients and thus a degredation in server speeds and uptime. My dad told me "The Customer is King". He used to have a poster in his office, when I was a lad I used to ask him about it. The poster said - "The Customer is KING!" I remember these words from my dad... "Your customer is always right son, they are the lion of the jungle, the King!" "You treat your customer like they are your King and they will be your customer for ever" "Never Lie to your customers, they will find out and will loose faith in you" "They will be loyal to you if you treat them with respect" Guess what? Dad was right.... We have built a community of customers based on trust, honest service, value and reliable service. TCH doesnt censor these forums, as other hosting firms do. Anyways, enough about the old days. Just rest assured service will not faulter.

We got a little less than a boat load, but a lot more than a bundle and for sure way more than yesterday. In all honesty I would prefer to keep it among Staff. We have enough Trolls from other web hosting companies in here, no need to make them go home crying!

We are no longer downgrading servers to the older version of sql. A upgrade to 1.2 should fix your Table Corruption problems. We are running 1.1.2 here, and have had no problems at all.

I just had to post this. Today we are on our way to breaking the TCH all time one day new client signup record. We are like so close its almost a gimmie. Almost! Its not happening to my connections at all. I uploaded 32MB of data without a disconnect. Please provide a tracert as requested.

As you can see from my screen shots, this issue does not appear to be server side. Here is what we need you to do. Answer the following: Are you behind a firewall? Did you use the standard install of ws-ftp? Have you tried another FTP client? Post a tracert from the computer with the ftp problems to server26.totalchoicehosting.com

I have looked at server26 and find no issues at all with the performance of the server. I was able to upload a 12MB file using smartftp without issue. The upload maxed out my DSL line. Once it was done I was not disconnnected. I also downloaded ws-ftp pro. Right off the bat I must say what a gosh awful GUI this program has. Anyways I installed the demo using all the standard settings. I was able to successfully upload a 20MB file without issue. This also maxed out my DSL line.

We dont offer any plans cheaper than four dollars a month, nor do we offer customized plans. Sorry, but I must say. $19 a year for hosting? What do you really expect to get for $19 dollars a year... I have an idea and its not the kind of uptime, honest and dependable service that I provide to my clients. Most of the low end providers will be hasbeens at that price rate
