I know we have many clients in the Michigan, Ohio, Florida and Canada areas. Heck for that matter we have clients all over the world. But im not sure someone from Colorado would want to travel up to Michigan to meet everyone. With this is mind, I was wondering if there would be any interest in a TCH Get Together. This is all just an idea right now, but here is what I am thinking. Plan a lunch/dinner at a resturant or pub of our choosing. All TCH customers are invited. Friendly dicussions, good food and laughs. And no I am not offering to buy dinner for all my clients, but I think the idea is grand! Please respond with your ideas, thoughts and if you would attend such a function.

Not sure why this is so confusing.. Semi-dedicated accounts recieve 5 IP allocations. Each Allocation must be with justification. We follow very straight forward rules on allocation of Dedicated IP's. When you get a Semi-Dedicated Account you get 2 nameserver ips and 3 dedicated IP's. One is assigned to the domains you will use, thus leaving you two additional IP's. Each IP above the 3 require a valid use reason. Providing justifaction for IP's is a very straight forward task. The only Dedicated IP Allocations that we allow are for - Nameservers SSL Cert's Anon FTP sites. No exceptions to the rule. If you want to order 5 more ip's great. Pay for em, and list reason for them. This has been explained in many postings. KW - maybe we need to list this in the Help site?? Reseller accounts use shared IP's..

Your help desk ticket was answered by rick last night. Since this ticket was not related to our servers it took us a bit to research the problem. Also, remember the Help Desk Priority Levels. We answer tickets by the level of priority. This was deemed a very low priority since the problem was that your email was working fine, you were simply having problems sending email to one address. Furthermore, you stated this same issue has been an ongoing problem not only with TCH but also with your last web host. So, we read the ticket and then placed a internal level rating to the ticket. 24-48 hour response time on this type of ticket is normal. In case you did not read the response to your ticket - OK...sorry to be so delayed in responding. Had to do some reading and we're still not positive what is going on. There are several possibilities but all point to the receiving ISP. You could be right that your domain is somehow on a blacklist that is being blocked. I searched several of the major ones and saw no sign of that. There could be a problem with the DNS on the other ISP that is preventing it from resolving your domain properly. It may just clear up if that is the case. It might be worth having the person you are sending to check with her ISP to see if they can explain it since the error message is coming from that end. Sorry we can't tell you more. Thank you for choosing Total Choice Hosting where choice does matter! Rick

It took abit of time, but we have patched the formail security holes. Formail is now active again on all the servers. Sorry it took a bit of time, we were just waiting on the patch from cPanel. Once we got it we wanted to make sure the darn thing was working. After a bit of testing the patch appears to have worked. So formail is back on. Sorry for the confusion and the removal of formail, however I felt it in the best interest of the client base.

We WILL move to vB as soon as the new release comes out. The major problem is a convertor. There is not a convertor available to convert from ipb to VB, but one is scheduled to be released with the new version of vB.

cPanel has just released a fix for the formail.pl rewrite security hole. Dont get excited, I will need to watch this fix for a bit to make sure its a good and viable fix. I will talk with Alan on Monday and see where we stand.

CGI EMail is a simple, easy-to-use script that takes the results of any form and sends them to you via email. Because it is already installed, minimal configuration is required to successfully use the script. The following steps provide quick summarized To configure CGI EMail: Create an HTML form with a number of named input fields. Refer to this page for more detailed information of the action component of the form. Create an email template (a .txt file) that displays the format in which you want your form information displayed in the email. Make sure all your form name codes are one word and in square brackets []. Upload the .txt and form files to your site. Go to your cgi-bin directory and change the file permissions on cgiecho and cgiemail to 755. Test the script. The cgiecho script is designed for testing online, so you do not have to wait for email to be sent or received.

Not upset at all. The help desk clearly states - Please be very precise in describing your support needs. We can not answer tickets without having a full understanding of the issue at hand. To expedite your ticket, make sure you have included your cPanel Password and Username. We will not answer tickets placed without them! Glad you got it working and were able to upload.

Your ISP's DNS is running between live updated server and a cached server. I like to refer to it as flip flopping.. This is 100% normal and you should not be concerned. Just allow is more time to propagate fully. I think it will work out for you.
