Easier File Handling Than Cpanel?

This should not shock anybody, but I made a mess of the directories on my site (it's my first....)

 

Is there an easier file mover than cpanel? I need to organize it much better than I have it now.

I use ws_ftp but most here would highly recommend cute ftp.

I like ws ftp more than cute. Either one is easier to use than Cpanl

I find ws_ftp more intuitive... but it tends to crash on me when my hard drive is low on space...

Alternatively, if your just file moving and bits and pieces and changing permissions etc, use IE and turn the FTP function on. Then you have a visual method too!

Another suggestion: try Leech.

It's a nice program with a lot of handy and practical features.

My favorite FTP program is Filezilla. It's a free program and makes it easy to create directories, remove directories, check permissions, etc. Do a search at downloads.com and you should find it.

CuteFTP is my personal Fav. I don't leave home without it.

 

For whatever reason, maybe just a mind block on my part, but I have downloaded, installed and attempted to use Smart FTP 3 times now and every time has ended in frustration and confusion....... just resistent to change I guess.
