TCH-Dick Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Ever make a mistake that effects people you love and really care about? My wife thinks it a hobby of mine. Are those the worse ones ever to make!!!! "All men make mistakes, but only wise men learn from their mistakes." Winston Churchill and then depression set in "One cannot too soon forget his errors and misdemeanors; for to dwell upon them is to add to the offense." Henry David Thoreau  Quote

boxturt Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Ever make a mistake that effects people you love and really care about? My wife thinks it a hobby of mine. Heck, mine accuses me of it being a poor career choice............... Chin-up Bill Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Failure is only the opportunity to begin again, this time more wisely. Author: Unknown I could say something here but I better since my ex-wofe is also a member of this family. Quote
btrfld Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 I know it feels awful, and there's nothing to do sometimes but wait for the feeling to recede. I console myself by remembering that Ted Williams, probably the greatest hitter of all time, failed 6 out of 10 times. Good thoughts to you. Jim Quote
ace Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Bill, Dealing with human relationships and emotions I think is the most complex process that we deal with in our lifetimes. These two are so dynamic that forgiveness, healing and restoration are a must. My prayers are with you and those you love. (whoever they are) ~Sincerely Quote
Head Guru Posted August 11, 2004 Author Posted August 11, 2004 It is a funny thing... This forum... I really cant explain it. We devised and launched this forum as a secondary means of support for our customers. Never did we think it would turn out to be what it is today. This forum, you guys and gals, really are family. I just really cant put words to it. Bill Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 No worries Bill. After all it does say "TotalChoice Hosting Family Forums" on top of page. Now, when is supper, Dad? Quote
Bunni Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Ever make a mistake that effects people you love and really care about? Are those the worse ones ever to make!!!! I am sorry that I fubared big time. We all do it, Bill. Unfortunate, but true. The important thing is whether or not we learn from our mistakes. If we feel regret, then we are learning. Life lessons..... Take care, Bill. We're all here for you. Quote
