Well, sounds like, from the limited info you've given us here, that the friend's site (subdomain) may be in violation of the AUP even with its recent revision. Because you are the one paying for it (the hosting package) YOU are the one at risk of suspension or termination. That's reason enough to tell him to get his own package! But to answer the question that you posed: No way to limit space constraints on a subdomain. I suggest you review the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy for the hosting account here at TCH and make sure that you are not at risk...and if you are, that's the perfectly polite way to tell your buddy, "Sorry, dude. Ya gotta go." Whip

Go back to your config.php page and make sure there are no blank lines or carriage returns at the end of the code. 3 of the last 5 times I've had that problem, it was the text editor that I had used to edit the page. It had automatically inserted a carriage return (extra line) at the end of the document when I saved. Just a guess, from limited experience, but maybe it will help.

I lost my buddy of almost 9 years today. She had diabetes. We'll miss her very much. This is Morgan (named after Captain Morgan spiced rum...her color was a perfect match when she was a pup). Her mother was full bred Pug and father was a Border Terrier. She was one mixed up lookin' pup!
