Keep things courteous please. Think "family." Besides the point that the case is based off of a prepubescent anime girl, it really is just a sculpture with a computer built into it. We were just exploring extreme case modding here. (Edit: Well.. Mike had a good response...)

All you need to do is install phpMyAdmin yourself to a directory underneath public_html

Good luck. PHP is a great language.

Much better than Dell, that's all I have to say...

What's The Best System To Buy For Graphic Work?
DarqFlare replied to webgyrl's topic in Hardware Corner
I've had some poor service from Dell regarding my new laptop... I would recommend Dell over any other computer maker, but before you go buying one of their systems, make sure to research it over Google. -
Creating Directory With Php Script Via Website
DarqFlare replied to Shannon's topic in Scripting Talk
You'd need to setup the CHMOD settings correctly to allow the script the access to the folder to create subdirectories in it... 755, right fellas? I keep forgetting what the CHMOD settings are... -
My load on my website's normal pages is pretty decent, considered I moved to all-JPG images for better clarity... Every one in awhile I go around and try to find ways to decrease the size and load times...

New Windows Vulnerability In Help System
DarqFlare replied to borfast's topic in Security Discussions
There shouldn't be a law requiring patch fixes once known... Holding Microsoft responsible is wrong, because they didn't exploit the problem, someone else did. I know it sucks that M$ created a ubiquitous operating system that causes problems when people hack it, but come on... This, IMO, is what a potential law should be: The software maker has X days to patch up the software flaw. Say they get it patched 3 says after X days passes. Then they are held responsible for the amount of "damages" caused in those 3 days. That's it. -

Can't Log On To Tch Server Using Cpanel

Yeah, that space-add thing happens to me too. When you copy text that is specific for a password, when it is selected, check to see if a space is selected on the beginning and end. If there is, go ahead and paste it, but delete the correct character out of the paste before submission. -
lol... Seriously, there is a middle ground when raising children. I'm only 20 myself, and still live at home with my father & stepmother (Attending UNLV), but there's a middle ground. It's like a relationship with someone. One entity cannot be in complete control, otherwise things don't work out well. I've been more of my father's friend than a "child" to him, so I think I've turned out well as a result. I could also be ananomaly, but that doesn't help my argument. lol!

Yeah. You'll need a scripting language to connect to the DB. HTML is a static language.

Wow, I can't imagine a host charging to resolve the domain name.. That's so absurd! Almost 100% of the time, the point of having a web hosting account is to host a domain at it. Bloodsucking hosts. They should learn from TCH that service is the way... Not greed.

Once I got past my hardware issues, WinXP has run smoothly for me. I've had macs crash on me time and time again, however... -
All 48, first time, didn't wanna read Wisconsin... With time to spare.

Well, I rebooted my router the right way (Web-interface), and now I can get to GB. But my tracert still won't go.

Ok, so... Earlier this week I was playing a game called GunBound, which I'm practically addicted to. Now I cannot access it, at all. Not through the client, nor through the website. It is http://www.gunbound.net/ I've tried this on different computers here at my house and nothing loads it up. Not only this, but when I run tracert, the trace gets to my router, and then hits nothingness. Ideas?

Niceness, can't wait to see it!

oh.. Don't even need the Spam Assassin workaround, I forgot all about the filtering by email... [smacks head]
-
Looking good! I've got my mod rewrite setup in a smiliar fashion...
-
I should add that I wasn't able to test my method, so it may not work... It should, in all theory. Also, enabling Spam Assassin may also block out other wanted emails, so if you absolutely only want those email addresses blocked, set your spam score to some insanely high number...
-
You only allowed 12 minutes after your post wondering if somebody would answer you... We're fast, but that's cutting it a bit short. All you need to do is go into your Spam Assassin, enable it, and add the email addresses you want to block to the blacklist. Also make sure to specify the "subject_tag" portion... To bounce it back, go into your Email Filtering, add in a filter that has the subject containing what you specified in the SA "subject_tag", and have the destination set to :fail:
