  5. Welcome to the family Paulo! Enjoy yourself around here!
  6. I'd be afraid to install a counter on OMGN...
  7. Yeah amansker... After thinking about this, I think there's a coding problem in the script that you're using to install. But better to listen to what the techs say in the ticket, lol...
  8. mouth
  9. I forgot what that's called... Virtual directory?? Is that right, Mike/MikeJ/Bill?
  10. Free doesn't exist on the Internet. There's always a price, even if it isn't money. Banner advertisements and popups are a form of "payment."
  11. lol... I really hope this blows up in their faces.
  12. Statistics go by the address used to access the content, so yes, using the folder would be different than the subdomain. There isn't any way in CPanel to limit the usage of a subdomain to the sub only and not folder. What I would do if I were you, is if your pages will be in PHP< add something like >if($_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME'] == "home/cpaneluser/public_html/subdomainfildername/script.php") { header("Location: http://abc.xyz.com/script.php"); }
  13. The only downtime I could forsee is if the other webhost dies before the propagation is 100% done.
  14. Yeah, I thought about people not having cookies enabled... I guess that means they'll have a tougher time viewing my site. I'm willing to take that risk in order to promote website security and better URLs.
  15. Raul, I took a look at it... Seems like the script has a problem somewhere.
  16. Hahaha...
  17. Note made. We'll get it fixed.
  18. I've seen that behavior before. My friend was actually able to fix it... Send him an email at darkwulf@omgn.com, make sure to specify in the subject that "DarqFlare" sent you.
  19. Username should just be your CPanel login name. Password should be the same. DB name should just be cpanelusername_dbname Does that match up with the information you've put in?
  20. You'll have to locally install phpMyAdmin... I've done it before, so it's possible. Just install it to a folder, and set it up to use HTTP Authentication. Once it's installed, it should work just like the CPanel version, except requiring a login. Make sure to have your databases and users setup correctly as well using the MySQL section of CPanel. phpMyAdmin is available at http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/
  21. Computers and robots only do what they are told to. Computers and robots are built and programmed by humans. Therein lies the problem. Human error. Thank god computers can't think for themselves...
  22. Welcome to the family, now that you're official! hehe
  23. Use localhost for the host/IP Are you sure you're using the right db name, user name, and password? Is it possible for you to give more information?
  24. I concur. lol
  25. Four out of seven! lol! I work with another Robert, there's a student named Robert that comes in from time to time, and on Fridays a security guard called Robert comes by... I work at a Community College. lol
