The problem may be on the receiver's end. If his email program does not delete the email as it's downloaded it could download over and over. But if he is sure it's not on his end please open a ticket with the help desk and they can see if the message is stuck in the send queue.

There was routing issue which made the servers inaccessible.

I had problems with scheduled posts with version 2.9 but it's been fixed in version 2.9.1 and I would also recommend that you upgrade to 2.9.1 as well.

Fantastico will never be quick to release updates for newer versions of packages. That's why I prefer to do manual installs. But with WordPress having it's own update facility built-in (that works) I would use that instead of waiting for Fantastico.

That is out of TotalChoice's control. But you can always upgrade through the WP administration panel or manually upgrade which is how I've always done it. When ever Fantastico decides to release it.

In the admin when upgrading automatically I just enter my domain name. Don't need the subdomain part. Not sure if "localhost" works in this instance. And no you don't need to change permissions on your folders.

Yes, just add a forward for the incoming email address. Both email addresses will receive the email.

Most malware hacks on a website is cause by bad or out of date scripts being run. They are usually done with SQL injection techniques. Google for SQL injection and you will find plenty of useful information. Another possibility can be caused by the version of web server software being run. Just like scripts that get hacked web server software should be patched with security updates. I'd have them contact support where they are hosted and have them check into it.
