There is no size limit imposed by TCH but the receiving end may have a size limit. How large was the file? What was the exact error returned?

Depends on the browser. You can define link colors to use if the developer has not added link colors to their style sheet or aren't using style sheets. I don't use Dreamweaver, but the link property should be in your style sheet in this fashion. These are probably horrible color choices but you get the idea.

You have no NAME for this frame. Add NAME="center" to it and change your target to target="center" and that should do it.

I've created subdomains and they propogated almost instantly. Have you created your subdomain and just aren't able to access it? Post a link and see if others can access it.

Welcome to the family, bigshew! Well, by most opinions frames are just plain evil but since you want to use them. The links in your Left frame will have to reference the Center frame with a target link. I will assume you named the center frame Center. So your links should look like this. your link That should open the document in the frame named "Center"

A 550 response means one of the addresses you are sending to no longer exists.

Now wait, isn't the navigation part of the top frame page? If so, if you target the forum to load in the lower frame that navigation would still be visible and usable. If the navigation is not part of the top frame then you will need to edit your navigation into the "skin_global.php" file located in the Skin/S1 folder. However I don't know where.

I've never used All web menus but I'm sure that's where the edit needs to take place. What are you frame names in your frameset? The one where your body content gets displayed is the target you want to send the forum link to. Can't you just link to the root of the forum? It will load the proper page. Like www.yoursite.com/forums/ I'm sorry, I am not understanding the question I guess.

OK, I see what you currently have. You say in your new stuff the forum is opening in a new browser instead of the frame, right? Just make sure the link to open the forum page has the correct "target" and it will open in the proper frame. ex. your link

Thunderbird is the current Mozilla email client. Firefox is the replacement to the Firebird browser.

There is a PHP file you can call from inside an HTML page that would show the last 10 (or more) posts to the board. It's called "ssi.php" in the root folder of the forum. Is that what you are looking for or did you actaully want to embed the forum into another web page?

Thomas if you can find the folder where they are stored on your hard drive you should be able to copy the folder to another drive. I don't use Mozilla's email but in Outlook Express you can tell it where you want to store your messages. Maybe someone that uses Mozilla can offer more advice.

I agree with TCH-Robert. A fresh install is the only way to insure you don't bring your software problems with you when you upgrade. If you cannot backup your data, throw a new hard drive into the machine and install to that. Put your current drive in as a slave drive and once you have XP loaded you can easily move files off the old drive to the new one.
