  11. And create a robots.txt file for your site if you don't already have one and add a line similar to this: Disallow: /forum/ This will stop most robots from spidering your forum.

  15. Welcome to the family, JTalbert! You don't say where the external email address is. Could it be it's being filtered and bounced based on the settings of the external email account?

  18. I would assume that if you are getting an unable to open message that it would be a permissions problem when trying to create the image. Have you set the permissions to the folder to 777 ?

  20. Yep, it's against the rules. If you pointed it at the index of your current site "parked" it would be acceptable. Affraid you need another hosting plan or reseller account to do it. Cheaper, depends on disk/bandwidth requirements.

  22. Yes you will still be able to use the machine you run the web server on. It runs as a service in the background.
