Thanks, guys! I appreciate the responses very much. Lisa, I didn't see the options you mentioned when I was in the admin area, but I'll look again. I was probably so frustrated that I overlooked it. Bruce, I'm not familiar with robots.txt files. Do I just write Disallow: /forum/ on a blank page, save it as robots.txt and upload it to public_html and that's it? Sorry for the dumb questions, but even though I've been making websites for over six years, I haven't improved much since the beginning.

I need a private message board that will be accessed only by a few people and I need to make sure it won't be spidered by search engines because I don't want it to be "discovered" by anyone. Is there a way to create a forum that can only be seen by people I invite? Maybe a hack I can install? Thanks!

I've had my site here for a month now and couldn't be more delighted. I love the control panel, the server is lightning fast (and my computer and dialup service are incredibly slow!) and I've never seen my site down. I can't believe everything I get for only $5! I went through about four different hosts in six months with disastrous results. My site was often down (sometimes for an entire day), I couldn't update my site either because FTP was down or the server just wouldn't post my updates and two of the hosts replied to my emails and tickets by telling me to upgrade to more expensive packages in order to receive "priority service"! I just wanted to thank the entire staff here for providing such an amazing service at such bargain prices and to encourage people looking for new webhosting to stop searching and just sign up already! Thank you so much!
