The last time I installed from cPanel it was 2.0.6 TCH-MikeJ confirms it is 2.0.8a You could download 2.0.10 from the phpBB website and install it here as well.

Hi Norman, Yes, you should be able to do that (ftp://ftp.******/public_html) and have it work.

If when you created the FTP account you told it to give access to that folder they can only see that folder and what's below it. Nothing above it will be accessible. You can find log information in the FTP stats. I don't think you can limit the login to only one IP address.

Yes, submit a help desk ticket and they can change it for you. You can't change it yourself without knowing the current one. And I don't think the password can be retrieved.

Next step in the learning process. How different are WordPress tags to MT? Anyone know? Wouldn't be hard to move a tempate set if the tags were similar. Moving to MT from Blogger wasn't hard at all with the import/export tools. Template took some work.

OK, where is Arvind? He uses Firefox and MT. Maybe he has the solution. Don't really need the buttons, since I know how to code each of those but it was faster with them. Bell, as for just moving to MT, I was runing an MT blog in tandem with the Blogger one learning it. It didn't look as it appears now because I didn't know much about changing the templates. But I am semi-comfortable making changes to the templates and CSS to get what I want. And I am going to be changing the theme (for lack of a better word) soon. I have found something else I like but need to modify the templates first.

If you are using your cPanel user name and password along with that FTP address I would bet that everything is getting uploaded to the folder above the public_html folder. Open up File Manager from cPanel and have a look.

Anyone have any clue why in the new entry form when using Movable Type the bold, italic, underline and URL buttons are visible and in Firefox they are not? What can I change to see them in Firefox? (see image)
