As far as I know you cannot check the spam folder with the TCH installed version of squirrelmail. Only with Horde.

You say you are using FTP with Internet Explorer? My guess is it's not displaying hidden files which is what the .htaccess file is. It is a hidden file. Go into file manager in cPanel and upload using that. The file manager displays hidden files. As for the error page not displaying. The only think I have done to create a custom error page was name it 404.shtml and stick it in the public_html folder. Didn't modify the .htaccess file at all. For subdomains, copy the custom 404.shtml into the proper folder. No need to edit the .htaccess. Almost forgot. The .htaccess files with the numbers in the filename are backups that cPanel makes when you edit your .htaccess file using cPanel. Or use something in cPanel that updates the .htaccess file.

Do you have access to manage your domain record with the registrar used? Meaning are you the administrative contact for the domain. If so, you can use the domain you registered. You can leave it where it's at and change the DNS servers to point to the web space you purchase here. Or you can transfer the domain to TCH as well and get an additional year with the transfer. If you are not the administrative contact for the domain you registered your hands are pretty much tied unless they release the domain to you. You have to be the contact for the domain to be able to do anything with it.

This is just a guess. But if someone entered your main site and then accessed your subdomain thier count would be included in both stats. If they went directly to your subdomain bypassing your root domain they would not. This is how I think it should work anyway.

Never did an upgrade so I can't answer this question. But it shouldn't be any harder than installing it the first time.

Which forum software are you using? Invision prior to 1.3 had a bug that produced this error.

Welcome to the family, FC. You should have been sent a welcome email when you signed up that contained the IP numbers and username/password for your account. You can log into cpanel using the IP numbers given. You can access your site before propogation like this. http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/~username/ You can use the IP numbers in your FTP client before propogation takes place. If you did not purchase the domain name from TCH be sure to change your DNS name servers to NS1.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM and NS2.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM at your current registrar.

What happens if you delete the shortcut and recreate it?

You don't need to sign up with any external service you can handle this yourself through cPanel using the Forwarders function. For any email address you want to use just create a forward for the address to your valid email address. When it starts receiving SPAM delete the forward.

Please open a Help Desk ticket and ask if one of the techs would do that for you.

Thanks Jim. I had already ran it through the validator which it passes BTW. I also added background colors to the input fields which appeared fine in Firefox but still it didn't display in IE. I finally gave up and removed the DIV entirely and it's working fine now. Thanks everyone for looking. It's an IE problem and I am through messing with it.

Yes, as Lisa says it's for the indivdual entries page. If you click the link above with Firefox it appears as it should. In IE the labels and input boxes do not display even though they are there. I'm also having problems moving the form elements away from the left content border. I'll keep working at it.
