I would imagine that if it is building the entire site in one folder then organizing would break it for sure. You would have to manually edit every link it creates if you move content it is expecting to find. As for your FTP problems please open a help desk ticket (link above) the next time you encounter it and have the techs take a look.

Sounds like you need to go into the Forum controls and for each forum check the settings. There is a setting labeled Moderate postings?. If you don't want to have to moderate posts you need to change this to "No".

I would guess that auctionupdate.c is a "C" source file and you would not be able to run it in it's current form. It would require being compiled first. Since you don't have shell access you cannot compile it yourself. If you have the Linux compiled version of that source file you could set up a cron job using cPanel to run it.

Have you set up your outgoing email to use authentication? In Outlook Express on the servers tab check the box "My server requires authentication". Then press the settings button. Select the "Log on using" radio button and enter your email address and password for this account. If you are still unable to send you may have you change your outgoing mail server to your ISP's mail server. Some ISP's block ports 25 and 26.

Have you created an email account in cPanel for yourself? That would be the first step. You really don't want to use your cPanel (account) for email. Then you would in OE set the name to youremail@yourdomain.ext and enter the password you create for the account.
