  1. Welcome to the family, and forums. By show up on your site do you mean a link to it? If that is the case then it would look something like this. Click here for PDF Of course this assumes that you uploaded the PDF file to your "public_html" folder.
  2. Not true, it all relationship. Have you tried reducing the font or increasing the font in the browser?
  3. That's the way it's supposed to work. But if you have modified font sizes or point sizes on either of them it would make a difference.
  4. Are both monitors the same size? 14" 15" 17"?
  5. You need to open a help desk ticket and allow the techs to do it for you. You can click here to access the help desk. Moving for organization.

  7. Nice job both of you. Thumbs Up
  8. Welcome to the forums, Tashius!
  9. Welcome to the family and forums, Joanne! Maybe this post will help.
  10. What are you trying to display it in? .wml is for cell phone browsers. You can go to this site and enter the address and it should display for you. http://www.gelon.net/

  12. I've searched for the script I was using but it's gone. Sorry. The one that Ty posted is actually better than the one I had. As for having 404 errors automatically sent I don't think you would want to do that. For every 404 that was looking into your cgi-bin folder for open scripts to run you could get a lot of email for scripts that don't exist. Just my .02 cents.
  13. The daily stats would be the same except for the current day regardless of when it is run. As more accounts and content are added to a server and sites receive more traffic the stats program will take longer to complete. Oh, almost forgot! Welcome to the family!

  16. I used to have a script that did that but it required that the user tap a button to send the information. I removed it because nobody ever did. In your cPanel you can get a list of 404 errors using Awstats and that's how I correct any that happen to appear.
  17. Welcome to the family! Only ever used Squirrel mail here. But like the others, I mosty use an email client.
  18. Glad you guys survived yet another storm. Hopefully that's it for the season.
  19. Welcome to the family, joyrider!
  20. Which Mike referenced 6 posts ahead of Rob's.
  21. If you don't have cPanel on your current host you will have to download all your content from your current site and upload to the plan you purchase from TCH. As for you BB you can do a dump on your current host, upload it here and open a support ticket with the help desk and have them import it for you. You would have to have the BB in place before loading your posts from the previous host.

  23. Since computers are machines and internet connections sometimes go haywire there is nothing you can do to prevent it from happening. It could be as simple as a routing issue to the server you are on to as bad as the server crashing. Open a help desk ticket if it happens again as the techs are the only ones that have access to your site and are the only ones that could answer if there really is a problem. You could run a tracert from your computer to the server and see if there are timeouts along the route. You could also check the server status link at the top of every forum page that would show red if there was a problem with a particular server.
