There was another user having the same problem. I have only done a manual install of Gallery2 and not through Fantastico. But it seems that file and folder permissions are not being set correctly using Fantastico. If you follow the installataion instructions for Gallery you should be able to change the permission on your folders to get them to work. It may take a trip to the help desk if you don't happen to own the files and can't change them.

You cannot write to this file with a script I don't belive as it is in a system folder. Open a help desk ticket and they will confirm or tell you how to do it. Link at top of page or in my signature.

Welcome to the forums Chris! Are both sites now working?

Thanks Thomas

They are simply text files. Some may be quite large and may not open in what ever you were trying to use.

Never a doubt!

That was my next guess. Glad they were able to sort it out for you.

Welcome to the forums Boonetown. Instead of banning an IP range or router somewhere you should update your guestbook with better spam controls. By either upgrading to the most recent version of what ever guestbook program you are using or switch to a guestbook that offers a CAPTCHA before an entry is accepted. Or a moderated guestbook where you need to approve the comment before it's added.

Thanks Jim, if I was any good at rewrite rules I would have provided it.

Invision Power Board Multiple Vulnerabilities

Thanks Thomas -
How about a mod rewrite rule in the .htaccess file?

Are you sure the site you are pulling information from is currently active? The warnings would indicate that it is not.

I have my default font set to Verdana and 16 for the size in my Firefox. That may be what's stretching it. I thought it looked kind of nice.

Have you looked at the source of the index.php file? Is there content in it and the server is just not parsing it?

Can't say I know what it could be never having installed Xoops. Do you have an index.htm or index.html and an index.php file in the same folder? Are you sure it's extension is .htm and not .php? If you have a .htm or .html index page they will load before a .php version.

Anyway To Find Out Cronjob Activities
TCH-Bruce replied to greenworld's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
You could open a ticket with the help desk and ask them if they can restore your cron jobs from a backup if they have one. Link at top of page or in my signature. -
Cron Jobs For Spamassassin Clear Spam Box
TCH-Bruce replied to Prel's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Paulo, why not just disable the spam box? If you are going to clear it without knowing if it has been checked for good emails using a cron job I don't see a need to even have it enabled. Personally, I do not use the spam box. -
Thanks for the nice review. We are gald you are happy. When you are looking for tutorials for the scripts included in cPanel and Fantastico don't forget to use Google. I usually find what I am looking for with it. Also check out the scripts developer site. Most of them have support forums for their scripts and you can find a wealth of information there. And as always if you get stuck the TCH forum is always ready to lend a helping hand trying to get you back on track.
