You could always ban the IP address and/or email address of the offender to prevent them from accessing your board. You could also use .htaccess rules to block them from coming to your site. Unless the person is causing bodily harm to someone or threatening to do harm I don't think there is much you can do beyond that. I don't know if your site is a US based site or not but people have the right to speak their opinions in the US whether or not we agree with them.

Do you have a Add/Remove Features in your Add/Remove Programs? It would be listed under that section I believe. I don't have Office installed on any of my machines so I can't tell you for sure.

Yes, TCH is moving away from supporting mailman. Some of the servers don't have it installed. The ones that do will have it removed over time. There are alternative solutions to mailman. There is phpList included in Fantastico and you can find a host of others that will run at hotscripts.com.

Well, this is how they recommend removing it. Have you tried it?

I run Windows XP but only because that's what I use at work.

It means your web space is filling up. Delete some content you are no longer using or upgrade to the next plan. Your account not only consists of your websites, images and what not, it also includes all email being stored on the server. So if you are using webmail and saving large attachments they are counting towards your account.

See if you have what it takes to hit a major league pitch.

What I did before I chose to discard them to be sure they were all spam messages being caught was set up another email account and forward them there. Once I was satisfied it was only catching spam I set it to discard and removed the email account I was forwarding too.

Have you set up a filter to discard messages marked by Spam Assassin instead of delivering them? Spam Assassin does not delete messages, just tags them. You need to either filter them server side or client side. To do it server side go into cPanel and select Mail. Then select EMail Filtering. Add a new filter. Select Spam Assassin Spam Header in the first dropdown. Select begins with in the second dropdown. Enter Yes in the third box. Enter Discard in the next box to have them deleted or you can enter an email address to send them to. If you want to do it client side (your PC), then build a filter that will rewrite the subject so you can build a filter in your email program to handle them.

The other thing to check is are these emails addressed to valid email accounts you have set up or are they addresses to whatever@yourdomain.ext? If it's the latter make sure you set your default email account in cPanel to :fail: That will cut down on a considerable amount of spam to addresses that don't exist.

Agreed. Back to the question. I am a software developer and we don't give our software away we sell it. But that's how we make a living. If you could find an app that is free and does the job you are looking to perform then by all means use it. If you find a piece of software that you want to use and feel is worth the money then buy it. I myself use both personally. I have apps that I've paid for and free ones.

Ok, I've tested this and it does work. I entered the username and new password and selected the Add/Modify user. The password was changed. If this is not working for you, start a new browser session to test it. If that doesn't work, open a ticket with the help desk as there is something wrong.

Sorry, no I don't but you could open a ticket with the help desk and have them take a look at it for you. Unless one of our other users has a clue.
