  1. While I have no experience with Dreamweaver I do not think you can apply layers to a table. I could be dead wrong but I don't think so.
  2. Thanks for the kind words Herietta. If you need anything else just ask.
  3. wget has been disabled on the servers so that job will not work.
  4. 1. To create an email account in cPanel follow this movie tutorial 2. No, you don't download this to your computer. 3. No, you don't put it somewhere in your domain. You first create an email address. Then you can access that email address either with an email client or webmail.
  5. Welcome to the forums capellan Have you given your laptop IP host access in cPanel?
  6. Not noticing a change either.
  7. happy (Steve - look two posts above yours!)
  8. Thanks jayson and Thomas
  9. Open the file with WinZip and look at it.
  10. Open a ticket with the help desk and let them know which server you are on and they will get it removed.
  11. Welcome back to the forums. I just tested this using SquirreMail and it worked as expected. I was able to log in and retreive a test email sent from another domain. Might want to open a ticket with the help desk and have them take a look.

    Mysql

It is a server wide setting. There are basic, silver and platinum accounts on the same server.

    Mysql

Welcome to the forums Deny There are many sites hosted on TCH that receive those kinds of numbers of visitors not having a problem with the current settings of the servers. Most of the time when you receive a max connections message is because you are using persistent connections. If your scripts can be modified to use mysql_connect instead of mysql_pconnect you should have no issues. If you want to know if the setting can be increased only those on the help desk would be able to assist.
  14. Hello everyone. This Open Discussion forum is being overrun with questions that would be more appropriately dealt with in other forums. we are asking everyone to please review the list of available forums and post in the most appropriate forum. The Open Discussion has become a catch-all. We ask that future questions, especially those that are involving TCH service, cpanel, email, scripts, mysql, etc, be addressed in their correct forum. Let's use this Open Discussion area to talk about the weather, the cool birthday party you just had for you niece and so on. If a post is moved from the Open Discussion forum you may or may not receive a PM that the post was moved. Please check the other forums or your My Controls panel to locate the post before jumping to conclusions that the thread was deleted. The Moderators are volunteers and sometimes they forget or are too busy to send the PM that they moved a post. Do not hold it against them, they are only doing their job. Thank you in advance.
  15. Has it cleared since you have gone into your admin panel? Try viewing one of your messages and see if that clears it.
  16. Bill will update this sometime today. Hang in there Bob.
  17. Hotlinking is designed to prevent people from stealing your bandwidth and using your images on their sites. Since Don and I went to a page on your site we were able to see the images. What link was the person having issues using to access the images? If they were going to the same link you provided here they should be able to see them. Unles they are running something on their computer preventing the banners from displaying. Like Norton or AdBlocker.
  18. Since it is in your root folder no you don't need to do that. Just leave the folder set at 770 and you do not have to change the script permissions.
  19. Welcome to the forums Ron I can see the banners and I am in Ohio. I do not use the hot link protection so I cannot comment on it's use. As for the forum software, this is Invision Power Board. They used to offer a free version but have not done so in many years.
  20. I agree with Thomas. Follow the guide. If it doesn't work or you get stuck then post a question.
  21. Please open a ticket with the help desk. Maybe they can look for you. Most people either write down passwords or use a program like AnyPassword to store passwords in a file on their computer or USB flash drive.
  22. I have no idea, I've never used the package but most would name the file "config" or something with the word config in it and not password. When you do find the file it will give you the password for the user that has access to the database. That will still not allow you to log into the administration panel but with that you can access the file with phpAdmin and change the log in password. Please be sure to backup the file before making any changes.
  23. The normal boot order on today's machines is to boot from a CD then the Hard Drive. So in answer to your question, yes, it's possible.

It would if you rename the processing script too.
  25. Create a folder at the same level as the public_html folder. Then the path will be >/home/yourCpanelname/folder-you-create
