in cpanel, turn off indexing for whatever folder you dont want the directory structure seen in. Or, you can ut a blank index.html page in each folder, then if someone access that folder directly all they will see is a blank page.

not submitting these for the contest, but since something to do with these pics did in fact affect my work area I'm gonna post em anyway My main system was in a big old full tower case, nice AMD system with almost a 1GHz over clock on the processor, water cooled cpu and video card...man it was quiet. Then all heck broke loose, my resevoir sprung a leak and sprayed water all over my motherboard, I almost cried. Anyway after a day of drying out and switching back to air cooling all is fine again. There are no real benefits to having one theme over another, they all have the same features, some servers dont have blue lagoon installed on them, some do, and like big gorilla said, cpanel has stopped supporting blue lagoon.

By default the logs are deleted, but as Rob mentioned there is an "archive option" in cpanel.

If you want to manually update your stats, here is what you do. Find you awstats folder.(it's outside of publichtml in the temp directory) You need to find and edit awstats.yoursite.com.conf Change AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=0 to AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=1 Save and Set the permission for awstats.yoursite.com.conf to read only (chmod 444) to prevent server from over writing changes Now when you open AwStats in cPanel there will be a link next to the date that says Update now This can have an adverse effect on a server in a shared enviroment if you update several times a day. If you feel the need to use this option, please do so responsibly.

I think I understand. Lets say you setup subdomain TEST, then you try to install the phpbb bulletin board and cPanel tells you that there is an error, TEST already exists. Is this correct. If so you have to install the bulletin board first(let it create the directory), then go to >Manage Subdomains, and create the subdomain.

Nice review, but Also want to add something. Mambo is a HUGE resource hog. For a small site it isnt bad, but for large high traffic sites using Mambo on a shared server will most likely get your site suspended.

We can do all of that but the shell access, we no longer provide shell access on any accounts.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll fix it. The reason some servers have SSL and some dont, is...the standard servers all have SSL in order to use the shared SSL TCH provides free of charge. Reseller servers dont have the shared SSL available.

I met Ozzy at Ozzfest in houstin a few years ago, hes an awesome guy. the invision forum is your best bet for getting answers to those questions, we dont provide support for IPB. You may eventually get an answer here, but the ipb forums would be quicker. I didnt have any problems whatsoever when I upgraded the three forums I maintain. , for the security patches you just upload them to their corresponding folder.
