If you can change the DNS yourself you can wait and get your account here setup first then change the DNS and transfer later. You will get a temp address in the form of server/~username.
-
I think if you download the forum folder and ftp it here make a mysql backup from your current host, and create the same database here in cpanel mysql, then in mysql admin (phpMyAdmin) import the backup, it should work.
-
Whoops , missd the cpanel part. Ok you will need to upload your site by ftp then, it was worth a try be sure to upload to the public_html folder as per your welcome e-mail. If you need any help just ask on this forum, we love to help.

In your cpanel here (web site control panel) which you are going to love! under e-mail you can enable spam assassin, and add good e-mails that are flagged as spam to your white list. No virus, you will still need an anti virus program on your computer when you check e-mail.
-
Good to hear
-
Also if your current host has cpanel you can open a help ticket to ask if the techs can trasfer your site. they will need your current host account details and will try, it will normally work. They will create a backup on your current site, so be sure there is room.
-
After you get your hosting account setup you can log into your domain name control panel where ever that is and change the DNS to your new account here. if you want to transfer the domain name, that is seperate, wait til the site here is active. then transfer it to where ever you wish, or you can transfer it here to TCH.
-
Yep that will do it, they will have to delete the entry for you. hang in there, and when you are set don't forget to say hello in the introductions forum
-
Is your domain name registered with your current host? is the contact e-mail address for the domain yours?
-
If you mean host your site here, just sign up for an account, create your site here using the info in your welcome e-mail. When you are happy its looks good, change the DNS for your domain name to the name servers in your welcome e-mail at your domain registar. And welcome to the forum
-
Welcome to the forum! You can open a help ticket and explain what you need. For login and password use what you were going to use for your account.
-
You can open a help ticket to have your files deleted as to the allowed characters it is recommended the you stick to lower case and only add - or _ in the file names.
-
You should be able to put it where ever you wish and use include $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."/path/file.php"; to include it.
-
Hi Dave, I created a page and pasted your code into it and it worked for me. Have you tried to just create a small page with that code on it to see if it works?

An Easy Way To Delete All Of My Web Site Material?
TCH-Don replied to JDanniel's topic in Looking for......
You are welcome. And you can goto cpanel > backup and click on Download a home directory Backup and also download the databases and e-mail filters and alias so you can restore all. I make these backups before major changes.
