Welcome to the forum René Be sure that you did not create the folder first and use cpanel to create the sub-domain. You do not do any redirrection, cpanel will do that.

No just php. You need a windows server for ASP. There have been some dedicated windows servers here but I don't think you want an entire server, do you

You can also just put a web page in the image folder so it will not display the images. -

April, you have an email link on your web site, for questions@yourdomain so you will get spam addressed to that addy and spammers will just try any thing @yourdomain unless you set your catchall addy to :fail: And setup an e-mail account and forward alias addys to it.

TCH-Don replied to friendly-computing's topic in Looking for......
Welcome to the forums Krisztina Most mailing lists send individual e-mails. I don't use mailman, it did not seem the easiest to use. You can search google for more php email list scripts also. -
Thanks JM, its always nice to see a nice explanation of a problem and fix.

The table structure may be different for the new script. I would follow the install instructions. Then be sure that in MySql you 1 - created the new database 2 - created a user 3 -added the user to the database Then to connect to the database in a script use: host: localhost database: yourCpanelName_databaseName user: yourCpanelName_databaseUser password: mypassword Do not try to use phpmyadmin to create the database. But use it to add the tables to the database. The script should have a sql file to create the tables by using the sql tab ans browsing to the file on your computer or copy and paste the text from the table file inti the text query window.

A Few Questions On Cpanel And Stuff...
TCH-Don replied to Cygni's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Welcome to the forums and the family Cygni -
If you don't mind you could post the problem and solution for other family members to learn from.

I merged your topics as they were the same and looked to part of your original topic. It will help others if you post all your MySql questions about your own server here so they can follow along.

welcome to the forums It can take up to 72 hours for you ISP to consistently show the new site some times you may be seeing their backup name server that has not been updated yet. If we had a domain name we could help check the DNS.
